Hotel Solaris is a nightmare. Not only is the room quality extremely poor, the front desk staff person was down right rude with absolutely no customer service skills. Some of us ended up in sub-par rooms with no window, extremely poor ventilation and unclean floors. What's worse, is when others in the party voiced concerns about the poor ventilation and mildew, he asked for proof of their medical condition, ended up giving them our rooms and forcing us into the rooms that I feel are not fit for guests. I don't consider myself high maintenance or fussy but this was definitely a bad experience that I wanted to share with all future travelers. We ended up leaving and finding other accommodations.

The pictures show the remodeled bathrooms, which are decent. And I was fooled. This is fine if you’re in your 20s, but if you can afford more, find it elsewhere. I made the mistake of booking via hotels.com based on price, not factoring that Santorini is innately double the price of Athens. I should have spent more on the hotel. The beds are hard, pillows thin, sheets worn, and shower is awkward.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was great, the view was wonderful, pick up from airport (for a charge) was helpful. The breakfast was good and they arranged for a tour of the island. Close to the city center.

Stayed here in March after booking on booking.com Pics were much better than reality. Beds were hard, blankets were dirty, tiny bath, a kitchenette Id never use. Close walk to everything which was nice. Also the smell of cleaning products in lobby was a bit overwhelming. As well, on our last night water came up through the drain in bathroom. Gross. Shower head in shower was in such a weird position there was no way to move it so you had water everywhere when showering Cheap tho so 🤷🏻‍♀️. Had everything you need in primitive lodging. Front desk guy was nice and helpful.

Visited in March. Marginal hotel, you get what you pay for. Superior room is small, very small bath room. Breakfast is no better than C. Parking is limited. Walk to town is uphill. Staff was helpful. Stay on bottom floor, no elevator.
