I loved this hotel. This was my second time in Greece and first in Santorini. I was excited but nervous that it would be a bit too touristy, but Santo Pure solved that by being an Oasis in an otherwise very busy town. A short seven-minute walk from the heart of Oia (albeit on a cobblestone path that is not for the faint of heart, but that I enjoyed) you were close enough to the heartbeat but when you were at the hotel you felt worlds away. This is not a party hotel. This is a calm hotel. The restaurant was surprisingly fantastic with very elevated Greek fair. The concierge prior to arrival was a bit slow to respond, but very helpful once we were there. There is some typical nonsensical Greek things like the fact that the spa told me I could not charge my service to my room, but my friends an hour later were able to. While eating dinner at the restaurant there was a separate bill for all of the alcohol from the bar. The staff was attentive, a bit too much at times. The pool boy who was a bit too chatty. The spa was trying to upsell a lot. But we loved it. The rooms were spacious and all had their own hot tub. The first room they put us in did have a view of the sea, but also of a parking lot so we asked to move and they accommodated us. We were ther celebrating our ten year anniversary and my friend's husband's 60th. Lots of couples were there on their honeymoon. I would recommend and go again.

I am so surprised when I read bad reviews for Santo Maris and we had such an amazing stay and all the facilities and staff were amazing. First to note, we visited during the coronavirus pandemic, and all parameters and measures put in place were fantastic. All staff wore face shields, there was plenty of hand sanitizer everywhere, they had clean and used pen pots, you had to book a slot for the gym which was limited to one room per session and they cleaned the gym between slots, all sunbeds were disinfected as soon as you left them, the buffet was changed to service, you call housekeeping to clean your room when you are out etc.etc. To note, the indoor pool in the spa has been drained and not in use, but there are 5 outdoor pools to choose from! On arrival the checkin staff remembered me as I had some email correspondence with them, and it was a very personal service. As it was our honeymoon they offered us a choice of rooms, and were honest with us as some rooms were overlooking a construction site which they didn't suggest. They escorted us around on the golf cart buggies and we knew it was going to be a great stay from the offset. The staff on the desk were lovely and both of the Vasillis' were super helpful!! The hotel is very clean and chic. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. They filled up the water daily, and changed your towels and linen if requested. There were also plenty of towels, bath robes and slippers which is always a nice luxury. The location is fantastic, it is a 10 min walk to Oia and a 10 min walk to Amoudi bay. Both areas are accessible via dedicated paths directly from the hotel. The girls on the customer experience desk helped us plan our entire trip. It wasn't that they booked us lots of excursions, we just sat there and had a lovely chat about how best to use our time, to chill and to go to the best restaurants etc. They scheduled gym slots around our various plans, and when we wanted to change our plans they were so accommodating and happy to do so! They were able to book us tables at restaurants that others said were fully booked, and on arrival we always had the best tables in the house! Their overall knowledge and guidance was so helpful. The pool service again and of course was fantastic, the staff remembered you from previous days and things like your umbrella preferences which they changed for you as you wished regularly. The food at the poolside restaurant was DELICIOUS. Simple things like the feta and watermelon salad, bagel and chicken gyros were so tasty and good portions. We didn't have dinner at the restaurant but I am sure it would have been just as good. Overall we couldn't fault our stay at Santo Maris and would highly recommend it!

What can I say… from the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty.. the staff welcomed us with open arms! 🫶🏻 We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and they congratulated us with a bottle of fizz in our room, thank you so much! We stayed in room 111, it was like a villa! So much space and we had a huge balcony area with jacuzzi and sun beds and a table and chairs which overlooked one of the hotels pools. It was clean, spacious and modern, air conditioning was excellent. 🤌🏼 Room service was very efficient, they made our beds each day, replenished towels and left water too. Breakfast was delicious, so much choice! We were also served freshly squeezed orange and as many coffee’s, iced mochas etc you wanted. We used the hotels main pool area, it had plenty of sunbeds, so no need to race down to secure one! Fabian was the pool assistant, we would like to thank him for being truly amazing, he was helpful, efficient, kind and friendly! He is a credit to the hotel! ✨ The hotel is in the perfect location, it’s a 4 min walk to the mini mart at the top and a 6 min walk to the town where all the stunning shops and restaurants were (I timed this walk😂) It’s a well lit path but fairly cobbled so definitely No high heels!! The hotel also has an amazing sunset view away from the crowds of Oia. This hotel ticks all the boxes ✔️great location ✔️perfect sunset ✔️amazing suite rooms all with jacuzzis ✔️best breakfast ✔️stunning pool area If you are thinking of booking, don’t hesitate! Also, get the hotel to book restaurants, boat trips etc as they are also amazing at doing this and whichever restaurant we ate at Santos Maris got us the most magical tables! So again a massive thank you to all staff and we can’t wait to come back!! 🫶🏻🇬🇷✨
