Lovely spot, perfect start to our holiday. A really large, great pool. Kind, friendly staff. Spotless accommodation. Lovely drinks at the bar. Quiet and relaxing. 5 minutes drive from beautiful Oia (and the crowds there!) Ideally you need a car. Room was spacious and cool with good sized fridge.
We loved our time at Pelagos! Staff was very attentive and they have a taxi bus that can take you into town/around the island. It was so nice and at an accessible price point and we would definitely stay here again. Shout out to Andreas, Rolan and Julia - some of the very best in Santorini!
The location of this hotel is quiet and peaceful. A beautiful beach is a short walk and a place to watch the world famous Santorini sunsets and sunrise is right up the hill behind the hotel, with out all the crowds. The food is phenomenal, fresh and healthy, much of it harvested from their own gardens. The rooms are charming, comfortable and clean. However it is the staff, run by a family, that makes this place so special. They are exceedingly kind, helpful, genuine and warm. I hosted two yoga retreats and every one of my clients felt welcomed and at home during their stay. Everything was flawless with scheduling, tours, transfers etc. Highly recommend Pelagos!
I stayed here for a week as part of a yoga retreat. It was truly perfect. The staff (family) could not be more gracious and friendly. Their suggestions and assistance were spot on. It was hard to eat elsewhere only because the food at the hotel was spectacular. The pool is a little oasis. Treat yourself to a milkshake. Early morning and later evenings walk up to the church behind the property to see the amazing sunrise and sunset without the crowds of Oia. This is truly the perfect setting for a visit to Santorini without the crush and chaos

I just completed my 2nd annual retreat at PELAGOS. It was unbelievable. The people treat you like family. George, the COOK, should open his own restaurant. The food was amazing. Antonis and his family from start to finish make it all worth it. My friends Adonis and Vasilis made the most delicious drinks but most importantly they treated me and my wife like family. I am definitely going until I cannot anymore.
I just wrapped a week-long stay at this amazing little gem, and I will miss it. After just days, the incredible staff already feel like old friends. Antonis the owner/proprietor is accommodating, helpful for booking reservations and excursions, and is a master at getting guests wherever they’d like to go on the island. His staff behind the bar, Adoni and Vasilis, are witty, engaging, funny, and with their warmth and infectious laughs, make you want to stay at the pool ordering drinks and getting to know them the whole time. Giorgos is a masterful chef. Some of the very best food that I had during my entire week in Santorini was from his kitchen. The moussaka that he served our group on the last day was divine. Everything is fresh all the time. The tomatoes, and eggplant, and mint, and cucumber from their garden on the property (tended by Antonis’s father, because this is very much a family affair) is so fresh and good. Do not miss a massage with Marios, the resident massage therapist. He is incredibly intuitive and has magic hands, truly. The rooms are simple and rustic. If you’re looking for luxury in a room, that’s not what Pelagos is about. They have created an environs that draws you out of the room and into community, that calls you to linger in the sun and sample delicious food and drink all day. Visiting in this wonderful place with its genuine and attentive people was so very good for my heart and soul. Go. And fall in love with the experience.…
I expected it to be pretty, & rural. It was! It is also brilliantly situated on flat ground, an easy 10 min walk to the beach, a steep 10 min walk up to the church for spectacular sunrise and sunset views. The apartments were spotlessly clean. Brilliant massage by Marios. Charming service.
I was here for a yoga teacher training course, and I have to say - the hotel staff made this experience so memorable for all of us. Everyone was so hospitable and accommodating .. I felt right at home! The meals were so fresh and DELICIOUS, the rooms were clean and welcoming, the views and gardens were beautiful. It is a great Oasis that I surely miss!!!
