We stayed at the Perivolas Hotel for 4 nights last week. It was a last minute booking to try to get away. Our stay was wonderful from the start, the transfer driver was waiting at the airport - his car was clean and he was wearing a mask. The hotel adhered to all of the ‘COVID’ rules but none of this impacted our stay in a negative way. Our cave style room was beautiful, we had a hot tub on a private veranda where we sunbathed and ate breakfast each morning. There are a few pools dotted around the hotel, with sun beds, but everywhere feels private and secluded. We weren’t told about the gym, but asked, and we are glad we did. The gym is well equipped and has a large training pool, under the new guidelines we booked a slot and had the facility to ourselves. Again the gym and pool were spotless and were cleaned between each session. We had dinner one evening at the hotel and the food was perfect. It’s only a short walk into Oia - to see the sunset and visit the shops and restaurants. We would recommend this hotel, the facilities, food and service are first class.

Just back from 4 nights at Perivolas. The rooms are amazing, the seclusion is amazing, the views are amazing, the service is amazing. One of our best trips ever. We stayed in the New Perivolas suite which featured a large pool, large terrace and a beautifully appointed suite of rooms. This suite has a lot of privacy, on lower level of hotel rooms so only one other room used same stairs that went past our room, another suite above us tucked away (we never saw or heard them). The steps are everywhere in Oia, but even on lower level of property we had about 70 steps (contrast that to family staying at another place where two family members had a 130+ steps to and from room). About 30 steps up to restaurant and pool deck, the hotel seemed to space out the stairs to allow for stopping and enjoying a view if you needed a break! Great breakfast in the mornings, very friendly service, delicious room service for lunch by our pool. Flawless stay.

My husband and I were on our first ever visit to Santorini and chose Perivolas because of the rave reviews here and in Conde naste we had read but honestly despite high expectations our experience was way better than anything I expected. First we loved that we were upgraded to a suite, Number 6 and everything about it from the fabulous terrace to the tiny window in the shower which was like a painting, wiith this picturesque view of Oia was a treat. The staff were just so friendly, kind and flexible we felt we were in a home away from home. The breakfast was exellent and served either in a nook by the pool (staff went out of their way to give us the nicest little corners with stunning views) or in your room. We got a continental breakfast before our hike early morning and they didnt bat an eylid when we returned and still wanted a hot breakfast as well! We had a candlelit dinner one evening, very nice and with lovely complementary dessert. Other than the hike and one wander into Oia we really did not want to leave this incredible property which is everything you read about and nore, one of the most elegant and peaceful and quiet one you can get on the island. Finally I have to say this is probably one of the most expensive hotel rooms I have ever stayed in and did gulp when booking but after our stay I have to say this is probably one of the best value for money hotel stays ever!
