We checked in for three nights just before their Easter celebrations our room was upgraded on arrival. We booked a Suite with a hot tub and they upgraded us complimentary to a bigger one. The room and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. They were very helpful polite and couldn’t do enough really. They gave us advice what to do in the daytime we hired a car and toured the island. The beds were so comfortable with cosy bedding and the bathroom was spacious and beautiful with a big mirror. Room was spotless. They cleaned the room every morning and have a turn down. The Breakfast was included and was so delicious and so was the rest of the food. Beautiful restaurant and champagne bar surrounding the pool with amazing views. Its not cheap but you get what you pay for and everything was well worth it. We continued our trip onto Mykonos and it was alot more expensive than where we stayed in Santorini and no where near as beautiful or was the service. We wished we stayed longer. We cannot wait to come back. 100 percent worth it. Thank you.…
My wife and I stayed at Katikies for 3 days as part of our Greece vacation. From the moment the taxi pulled up on the street above, we were treated special. We were greeted by the most warm and welcoming staff, and were shown to our room which was all the way down on the bottom - room #1 - and it was number 1 for a reason. Everything about it was incredible from the spacious size of the room, storage area, and bathroom to the incredible large patio with a picture post card view of the caldera. The beauty of this particular room was that we were at the bottom of the resort and were not looking over any other rooms. Additionally, when we walked out of the gate from our private patio area (which is walled off for total privacy and has a tall lockable door/gate), we were just feet from the pool, bar, restaurant, and breakfast area. The resort itself is BEAUTIFUL, painted a gleaming white and everything everywhere is immaculately clean. Every member of the staff was always friendly and helpful and greeted you when they saw you. The office personnel were particularly helpful in making any arrangements we needed including a rental car which I was able to get for only 35 euros a day. The restaurant staff in the morning were particularly awesome, and after the first morning, the young lady who served us for breakfast each morning after that knew what we preferred to drink. Speaking of breakfast, it was INCREDIBLE, with a box of different cakes, pastries, cookies each day, along with 3 different jams/jellies/honeys each day, along with different "charcuterie board" that had different meat, cheeses, and greek flaky pastries. On top of all that, you also had a menu of made to order hot plates to choose from. I couldn't wait to wake up every morning just for the breakfast with the incredible view. The bottom line is if you are visiting Santorini, treat yourself to the proper luxury and pampering (at a great value) that warrants visiting this beautiful island. This was a magical, beautiful resort, and my pictures will never be able to sum up what an incredible experience it was to stay here.…
We hadn’t heard anything about this hotel before we had booked but boy what an absolute gem we found. The service and location is spot on, nothing at all to complain about. Staff were all so helpful, friendly and always available. The manager was always visible and ready to chat and very personable. Views absolutely breathtaking and as ever we always find the Greeks so so lovely and very friendly Santorini is an island not to be missed and Katikies is the place to stay when you do visit. Oh and the food is amazing!
There was a bottle of chilled wine and several treats for us when we arrived (very good). The view from our room was amazing - pool and caldera, as well as the rest of the hotels in the area. Amazing breakfasts options every morning (basket of croissants, pain au chocolat, various breads, financiers, cookies), plus cheese and meat, jams and honey. You can order off the menu, too, if you want more/something else. Our room was always cleaned very early in the morning, everyone who worked there was very helpful and polite. Great location.
This hotel is amazing! The view is beautiful and the service is excellent. The room is a bit like a villa style, all white and minimalistic. For the price, the room is a bit underwhelming, however after a day at the hotel, any issue with that disappears as everything else is so good. We spent every day at the lower pool which is lovely. There aren’t many loungers around but we didn’t have any problem getting them and it didn’t seem anyone else did either. A lot of people seem to go out or spend the day on their balcony. The breakfast is brilliant. The snacks and drinks around the pool are good but expensive. I do feel that for the price of the hotel, bottled water should be free. You do get it at breakfast and one bottle a day at turn down but that is all. We booked the hotel transfer for the airport which is worth the money. We ate at both hotel restaurants on an evening which were good. There are lots of good restaurants in walking distance too. The location of the hotel is great, it is at the start of the town. It is a lovely walk through the town. A little tip, go out early morning for sunrise and enjoy the views without lots of people around. Another tip is to book dinner at Ammoudi Bay for sunset, it’s a short taxi ride away.…
Probably best hotel in Santorini. View is breath taking. Staff extremely attentive. Facilities are impeccable. Very expensive hotel but worth it service, location, and view. We would come back happily
Great venue for couples and „insta crowd“, no gym (and poor alternative), great service and excellent food, pools not heated Oct), somehow overpriced compared to offering (rooms/wellness/gym), perfect views
This is THE place to stay in Santorini. The location, facilities, staff friendliness, and food experience is unparalleled. We felt cared for during the entire stay. Nothing could have been done better!
After debating where to stay, we chose the Katikies and were rewarded for our choice. This property is WORLD CLASS. The location is perfect, the service is off the charts, and Seltz is classy and fun.
This hotel is the perfect place to go on a honeymoon. All the stresses of wedding planning really just went away when looking out at the beautiful sea view. The pool is a perfect place to relax and enjoy one of their fresh cocktails.
