They are amazing with great views an endless pool, lovely rooms but a bit out of the town - a 15 min taxi ride so best to hire a car or ask the owner to run you about, you can walk over the mountain and it is a lovely but hard walk and only for the quite fit!!!!
Very disappointing stay. Host is not very responsive. We have had a power cut to our unit this evening and cannot get through to the host. The host has been indifferent since we arrived. The apartment is miles from Oia and you really need to hire a car. The bus does not stop at the bus top adjacent to the property.
Vrachia is a lovely and quiet place. Friendly staff and shuttles are available by the main receptionist. It was very clean - clean towels provided every day and room service was absolutely amazing. The view from Vrachia is breathtaking. They have steps to the beach right behind the property. The breakfast was nice but needs some variety as we were served the same things every morning. I would also recommend to rent a car straight ahead as it is tricky to travel to other destinations. I’d love to come back here and will definitely recommend to my friends.
Vrachia was what I'd call a secret hideaway from the hustle/bustle of the busy, touristy towns of Oia, Fira/Thira and Imerovigli. The studio we had was spacious, had a nice kitchenette, dining table/chairs and a day bed/couch and a queen size bed. The place was thoroughly clean and cleaned everyday. It also has airconditioning. Breakfast was served either at the patio by the pool or in the room. It was a simple breakfast of yogurt/honey/jam/butter, pound cake, coffee, OJ and bread. The place is on the main highway and if you have a car, parking is across the street; be careful in crossing the street because vehicles are going fast, but they're few and far between. Vrachia sits on top of the Aegean Sea and the hotel has access to the beach; the beach is not sandy and I don't think it's swimmable. Our innkeeper, Claudio, was very nice and accommodating. Laundry is available for Eu10/basket. It's a 10-min drive from Oia and ~5 mins from Domaine Sigalas winery. I'd suggest a rental vehicle or ATV if staying here. If I had to come back to Santorini, Vrachia would be where I'd stay again!!…
“This place is not in Oia, it’s about 10minute drive to Oia, just FYI...” My husband and I only booked this place because our ferry was cancelled and we needed a affordable place to crash for 1 night. Place was cute, but it had strong chlorine smell... Wifi signal was very weak and the shower does not had any cover, everything will get wet after you shower! The bottle said “shower gel”, but according to a guy from reception it’s a shampoo not a body wash. Prepare a small bottle of conditioner if you need daily hair conditioner cause they will not provide you one even if you ask.. There is a small TV on the top corner wall, but you need a glasses to see the screen.. it’s very small. There is one american channel, it’s #15 with lots of Greek commercials. Good place to just crash, but not a good place to really enjoy the view and true Santorini experience. …
