Stayed here whilst touring France on the motorcycle. It is a stunning place to stay in the countryside away from everything. On arriving we waited at the Castle were we had booked for about 30 mins with no-one around to book us in. Another couple had been doing the same and had walked down to the mill were someone had...

We arrived at the chateau to find it absolutely deserted. We eventually made our way to the mill which was where all the action was. The rooms were ok - old fashioned bedding - blankets etc rather than duvet, and the bathroom was very dated. It was comfortable but I can only presume the chateau is more upmarket to give...

My wife and I stayed here for a week to relax as she is halfway through pregnancy. The people here are extremely friendly and helpful and the area is beautiful. You will need a car to get to any shops or restaurants as it is very remote but this is one of the reasons we came here. Do not expect...

My husband and I stayed at the Chateau for two nights during a recent trip to France. The trip was a special holiday and a sentimental journey for my husband. We had a fabulous dinner upon our arrival ad the hotel. We dinned under the stars and kudos to the chef at the hotel as everything was perfect. We choose...

We unfortunately only stayed one night at this beautiful castle, owned and operated by a family who have a passion for this castle's history. They provided welcoming transport to and from the train. This majestic Castle is surrounded with tranquil gardens which provide a very relaxing environment. The rooms and lavish bathrooms are beautiful with wonderful views of the countryside....

This is a real castle, and you feel it immediately when you enter it ...... Rooms are actually the former rooms use by the "ancient" owners/visitors. Staff are very friendly, very helpful and top. We had "half board", and the diner was typically french and excellent - we especially liked the cheese plate with a really good selection. There is...

A good place of depararture to investigate this part of France that is vastly underrated. The château could use a (huge, I'm afraid) investment to freshen it up, but in the meantime it is clean and reasonably well kept. The "official prices" are much too expensive, but we got a very good deal through a Belgian magazine

The domain of Villeray is a perfect place for a retreat and recharge your batteries. The chateau is pretty and the room pleasant. The staff is friendly and professional. If you go there you have to go to the spa pom.

Imagine, in the middle of the wheat fields and apple orchards, there's an intersection. You turn down a small provincial road, cross a bridge built in the 18th century, and then can either go up a small hill, with 17th century farm houses decorating the sides, or turn right, with an old mill on the right. The old mill is...

The Domaine de Villeray has a mill and a chateau. The mill has rooms and apartments and is quite nice. all meals are served in the restaurant at the mill. The chateau is up a small hill and has very spacious rooms. The whole area is idillic.
