Beautiful view, Very clean hotel, friendly staff. We stayed in the Rothschild villa. Quiet and peaceful. Overall the place is just so beautiful. We had breakfast in their dining room (first picture) with a great view. Definitely worth a return!

We stayed for our 1st Anniversary. Bit of a trek from the airport by hire car. Comfy room with bath in the room. The grounds are extensive and well maintained, with a huge lake. We had sunshine on both days. Lovely surrounding area. Bit expensive on the food & drink side. But all in all avert nice stay.

We decided to stay here to be “close” to Versaille Palace. You definitely need a car to get to this Abby. Once you arrive you will de transported back in time! Exploring this hotel was very fun and it has lots of history! I recommend exploring the outside at night when you hear the fox, long horn deer and wild pigs making noises- it does feel like a scary movie! Inside you will also be transported back in time.. wi- fi spotty and I believe that none of the rooms have TV’s or actual stand up showers. There is good plumbing and hot water. Taking your hygiene routine in the morning will be fun. Only had breakfast here and it was very mediocre. Staff was nice and they had a cool library and bar, where the wi- fi was good. It is gorgeous and truly something to behold if you stand the “ quirks” for a few days. Walking around the pond and the property is great!

I come here each visit to Paris if I have a little time from business and shopping. It is a true step back in the Middle Ages with all the comfort of today, the quality of the surroundings, off course a bit oldish but all sheer quality. The quiet is eerie but what a health getting away from the hassle and stress in Paris, really worth a detour. Breakfast and dinner are not to be missed, it's part of the magic
