What a lovely place! We stayed in the tour du part which is in the grounds and consists of a lounge and bathroom on the ground floor and large bedroom on the first floor. Bed was large and comfortable. Plenty of shady spots in the garden to sit and have a drink which was nice. Restaurant was very good with... More

Booked this hotel on our way to Italy and chose it from guest reviews. Lovely quiet hotel in the countryside - proper Chateau with circular towers. Nice grounds and we were able to eat breakfast outside. Dinner at hotel was also very good - we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

We spent a lovely night in this charming, silent and fascinating place on our way from Italy towards the Atlantic coast of France. It seems to be back in time, in a very relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the countryside, with a pleasant garden and an orchard. Perfect place for a stopover, in a room which was in one... More

We loved this place, it had a beautiful garden and délicious food. It is in a charming small village and so quiet at night. The only small blip was the bathroom which was not quite as clean as it could have been, a couple of hairs in the bath and the loo did'nt look as of it had been cleaned... More

Great stay! We had stayed at this hotel 20 years earlier for honeymoon . Returned to celebrate anniversary here. As lovely as I recalled. Want to return. Dinner was wonderful and the breakfast was good as well.

The food in this hotel is really excellent, served in the evening beside the garden. The garden is beautifully laid out with many private corners, and features. It is well cared for but not too fussy or perfect, so one can relax. The chateau has a very interesting history, having been burned out by the locals during the Revolution, derelict... More

Fabulous, out of the way ancient chateau with plenty of original walls and floors. Rooms are beautifully laid out and decorated, common areas also lovely. Food is exquisite and service was very French and professional. Would love to have stayed more than one night.

Beautiful chateau. We dined outside, on a bridge above the pond. We had the menu degustation with wine. Service was OK, not exceptional. We had the same opinion about the food. Lot of courses, well prepared but not really exciting or really extreme delicious. Wine sometimes well chosen. Total costs for two persons €350, which is not value for money.

This is a charming chateau set in pretty grounds. Our room was huge and well appointed. The dinner and breakfast were very good and all staff we encountered were most obliging. We stayed here overnight as part of our self organised 10 day cycling tour of Burgundy and it was perfect for this purpose. My only warning is, as to... More

Lovely experience staying in this chateau as we had a round room in one of the towers. Décor throughout chateau in keeping with building - olde worlde. Very comfy and clean. Friendly staff. Lovely gardens with lily pond. Wonderful food and choice of dining rooms but we ate in the garden as it was a lovely evening. Would definitely recommend.
