We stayed in this lovely Chateau with our family this summer during a reunion nearby. We were given a suite in one of the towers which was perfect - with an area for the kids upstairs. Everything about the Chateau was simple magical and the gardens were fabulous. Breakfasts were nice, and lunch in the Chateau restaurant was a real... More

My wife and I stayed at this beautifully restored Chateau located in the delightful Macon countryside. The dining rooms were charming and the cuisine, both breakfast and dinner, was outstanding. Rooms are huge, quiet and well equipped with very comfortable bed. Breakfast, pre-dinner drinks and canapes are served in the delightful garden setting if the weather is suitable. We would... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Chateau d'lge. THe rooms are not perfect not would I expect them to be at a chateau of this age. But the towels are soft , the bathrooms modern and the sheets are great quality. The owner takes you to you room and could not be nicer. The staff is quick to... More

We stayed at le Chateau d'Igé 15 years ago and always promised ourselves we would return. We were not disappointed at all. It was just as we remembered it. The room in the tower is an amazing experience. But best of all is the outstanding restaurant – the menu and wine list are excellent and the service impeccable. I could... More

We have stayed here once or twice a year for the last six years, it never disappoints. It's clean and comfortable with a superb restaurant and great service. The garden is a haven, when the weather permits eating outside is a wonderful experience.

What a lovely place! We stayed in the tour du part which is in the grounds and consists of a lounge and bathroom on the ground floor and large bedroom on the first floor. Bed was large and comfortable. Plenty of shady spots in the garden to sit and have a drink which was nice. Restaurant was very good with... More

Booked this hotel on our way to Italy and chose it from guest reviews. Lovely quiet hotel in the countryside - proper Chateau with circular towers. Nice grounds and we were able to eat breakfast outside. Dinner at hotel was also very good - we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

We spent a lovely night in this charming, silent and fascinating place on our way from Italy towards the Atlantic coast of France. It seems to be back in time, in a very relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the countryside, with a pleasant garden and an orchard. Perfect place for a stopover, in a room which was in one... More

We loved this place, it had a beautiful garden and délicious food. It is in a charming small village and so quiet at night. The only small blip was the bathroom which was not quite as clean as it could have been, a couple of hairs in the bath and the loo did'nt look as of it had been cleaned... More
