Le Clos Domange is a place that is so much more than just a stop-off to the South or to Switzerland. Ann and Luc are genuine hosts in every meaning of the word. Always ready to help and advice you on what to see, where to eat, where to taste wine. Even contacting their own favourite wine growers for you,... More

This is the second time we have stayed here and it will be our stop-off point for the South of France and the Alps again. A lovely B&B with an excellent breakfast!! Thanks to Luc for the present of beers - I really liked the St. Bernardus Abt 12. Cluny Abbey nearby was also lovely.

Le Clos Domange was very reasonably priced for the quality of our accommodation and food. We had a lovely spacious room and shower room, fully equipped to meet our needs. Breakfast was included and was amazing! There was a wide range of home made/ home grown products; including preserves, juices, fresh fruit. There was a good range of teas and... More

This is an enchanting place, whether you like culture, nature or enjoying the good French life, or rather the Burgundian life. There is a lot of attention for the local products which you find in abundance in this region. The copious breakfast still waters my mouth... Just the same for the wines that are served and that are at hand whenever... More

This was the first time we visited a B&B and we were not disappointed. I brought my own towels and sheets, but that isn't necessary, Ann, the hostess takes care of everything for you. The rooms are clean, our bathroom was nice and larger than I expected. Breakfast was the best I have seen in a long time, local cheese,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
AMIDST THE BURGUNDY VINEYARDS. The former winery 'Le Clos Domange' is these days a bed and breakfast. We are situated in the little village of Ige in the South of Burgundy. The closest city is Macon. We are easy to access from the 'Route du Soleil' (A6), 12kms from the exit 28 'Macon Nord.' It is well signposted. Our accommodation dates from 1850 and consists of a big rustic farm house with two towers and several extensions. In the inner courtyard it is wonderful to sit and relax in the shadow of the plane trees. From any of the terraces you can enjoy the sun and the beautiful views over the vineyards and the village. ... more   less
