It's not the campground's fault about Covid and restrictions, and out of all the campgrounds I have been to this year, they have enforced the mask and numbers of activities the best. However, they still pack the camping grounds in full, so if you are going to limit the swimming activities to certain numbers, they should only fill every other camp site, so the attendees can actually partake in swimming and activities. The water park closed down every 45 min for 15 min cleaning, which allows you to alternate groups. On satuday, I sat in line 45 min so we could get into water park. For the waterpark in back, saturday I sat in line for 50min to get a 10min time on section B of the waterpark, and they only allow you 10min on the beach, if you have an apt. Other campers at beach refused to leave because they couldn't get into any water park and you know you pay extra here for that. They have a beautiful new pool, looked all full and ready to go except for chairs and landscaping, but it was closed and no one worked on it from Thursday-Sunday, so having that would of helped. I felt bad for all the teenager's working putting up with yelling people, but the owner needs to back off on the camp sites so attendee's can enjoy the activities. I understand it was a late start, but you could have half the staff, make it safer for all and more enjoyable and your reviews would be better. Sat evening it rained and power was out for a few hours...many tent campers left. I'm surprised they don't have generators, but luckily the store was open and able to order pizza for delivery to the camp site. I will come back when covid is over as it is a fun place, just wish they would make it a little better for all during covid.

We’ve been coming here the past 5 years and the quality of our stay keeps declining. We have a Travel Trailer it seems that year in year out they cater more to cabins and cottages renters, we stayed for a week sun-sat this year so close to a $1k to stay. We had golf cart Monday to Thursday at 1pm it seems the Golf cart rentals are for weekenders in the cabins mostly every cabin cottage has a golf cart. WiFi (while I know your “camping“ we typically stay off tech) is bad, cell service is bad here, a bad storm came through and couldn’t receive weather updates. All employees we have encountered were teenagers on their phones we didn’t see one adult employee all week. Positive note a young girl named Chloe (at the bounce pad) was very mature for her age with a great attitude and actually paid attention to the children. Great for young families, value is ok. Hope they can purchase more carts/ give preference to weekly renters. Show some more preference to the rv campers that pay and have respect for this campground.

We stayed in a premium cabin. Very well stocked with dishes, silver, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster and cookie sheets. The beds are a ‘short queen’ not actual queen and not the most comfortable but for only a week vaca, they were sufficient. The water was hot, the shower pressure was good. Be sure to book your golf cart early, the walking isn’t terrible but if you have bad feet or knees, you will definitely appreciate it. The activity list is a bit disorganized. Many of the activities did not happen because they were missing supplies. Double check the list with a person in the rec center before you get the kids excited about something. The activities that did go off were fun! Movie night was also fun. Do not miss the Hayrides! We went 5 times in our week. The grandkids loved it, sang the songs the whole way home! Bingo games are fun, candy bar bingo, you bring one per card to play, and if you win you get a nice stash of chocolate. The other bingo is Slushie bingo, if you win, you get a slushie!! Staff is very helpful, if there is a problem, ask to speak to someone to get it fixed! Some of the stuff (gem bags, arcade, some ceramics), were a bit overpriced, but it’s vacation. The worst part was….the pizza oven was broken!

Be aware that what you see on their website versus what is actually there and what you are going to get is different. We booked a wood/log cabin looking cabin, but to our surprise, it was a white doublewide trailer. All the walls are painted a white flat paint so the amount of scuffs and dirt and grime that you can see is just gross. Apparently, these are new to the campground and I can only imagine what they will look like in 2 years from now - they are dirty and the white shows everything! Also, they have a fireplace on the porch that they never hooked up. All this being said, we understand that the time that the staff has to "clean" the cabins before the next guests come in is a short window but there needs to be some additional time/maintenance given the price that they charge, and their website needs to be accurate!! The store has very limited items in stock. The tractor rides are fun for the kids especially with the bears joining but the bears have zero personality! The aqua inflatable's part and beach were closed and the pool is not heated (or clean). The water park area and the wooden playground is fun for the kids and is best during the week when there are not as many people. Lastly, I had reached out to the office numerous times befoe my trip to ask some questions and got zero response. The place has great potential but needs some love and care to get it where it should be for the price that you pay, and update their website, and amp up the staffing.

I don't know if Jellystone and or Sun resorts understands that most people only get a couple weeks vacation a year. We chose to spend one ours here. BIG MISTAKE!! I assume when I book based on amenities those amenities will be available and there will be some type of safety and security. The water park did not work almost the entire stay except for one day it was raining. The inflatable water park in the pond is supposedly closed for health reasons however it is in complete disrepair and in shambles. Every game in the arcade is broken except for two. Even the change machine is broken! Never saw one of the supposed hayrides let alone people picking up trash daily. Workers that they do have are busy drag racing golf carts. Most campgrounds limit golf carts to electric and maybe gas, this place allows people to drive ATVs UTVs electric dirt bikes and ripped down the dusty campground roads at 40 + miles an hour. People are lighting off firework people were throwing sparklers into trees. There is absolutely no enforcement of quiet hours. I've actually never seen security if they have it at all. . My family watched people walk down the campground road pulling on random car door handles trying to get inside. i haven't bothered anybody or talked to anybody here, we left our campsite for 45 minutes when I came back F&#K YOU was carved into the door of my outside refrigerator.. REALLY? The kids that work here seemed decent enough. The one poor kid brought a craft in at craft time and told everybody he had no idea how to make it They just gave it to him and told him to do it.
In full disclosure after complaining we were offered some money back however I can't get my week back. The campground is not located near ANYTHING.. So when there's nothing to do here you're driving for at least an hour to get to something everyday!! I don't know if this is Jellystone issue a local issue or a sun resorts issue but we will never stay here again!

Worst campground ever!!!! We came for the spray park and hayrides! I can understand that weather can play a role in closing amenities but there is no reason that our entire 3 day stay,— the spray park( due to a bad filter and closed by the health dept, I guess) , dry inflatables, and back pond with inflatables are closed!!! Hayrides never happened! The arcade has probably 20 games with 2 working!!! Yes only 2. The splash ground doesn’t have a sign saying it’s open or closed, water keeps running all day long and NO lifeguards to warn and say it’s closed because all the doors are wide open to the beach and spray ground. This place is ran by teenagers. 1 that just turned 15 and the oldest here who is a manager is 21 and not here. They are respectful but there needs to be a manager available! I want a refund of some sort! I could go to another beach or pool or playground any day but NOT a spray ground, hayrides or an inflatable obstacle course everyday! I have asked 3x to the front desk for a manager. There isn’t one! They are saying that the spray ground will be closed again tomorrow, maybe you should be telling your incoming campers that these things are closed!

We will not be back! And I will tell everyone I know to never come here! I want my money back OR A PARTIAL!

So we stayed 4 days Sun-Wed (today). The staff are primarily teenagers who don't care. They'd rather be hanging with each other or just not doing their job. We've stayed every summer the last 3 summers. First summer stay was great. Over the last 2 years its gotten considerably worse. The food is sub par, when it was really good the first year. Everything is out of stock. The last day, today, there was a thunderstorm and the power went out at 6am. So we had to check out early. I asked at the front desk what the avenues were for asking for a partial refund, even $100 for the time we wernt able to stay. Yes, it was half a day, but the lady says "we don't do refunds" Normally if you're paying close to 2 grand for a trip and you're unable to finish out that trip a small refund would be offered. After the experience this summer I doubt we will be returning to that campground again.

I highly recommend that no one stays at Jellystone of Western New York unless you want to be very disappointed and out of a lot of money. We were long time monthly (June session) campers with friends of our (2 sites) for 7 years when "all of a sudden" they changed their 2 spring sessions into 1 for a lot more money. We got the notification of the change in December 2022 and we were either being forced to spend twice as much money for a longer session or cancel. Not to mention, the service was already going downhill (had to beg for garbage to be picked up, no poop bags in dog park, dog park was disgusting, most arcade games broken, the list goes on). However, we remained committed even through COVID. Who wants to go in April when it's still freezing in early June there? We canceled and ask for our money back ($1000 between the two sites from a deposit that was made on Memorial Day weekend in 2022). I have been asking for a refund since January via email, phone, and website with little to no response. I have yet to see the $1000 and I'm guessing I never will. Now I can't even get anyone to answer the phone there. The front desk goes right to voicemail. I tried a different option to change/cancel reservation and there's a recording that plays over and over again to visit their website for faster service. They know they are screwing people over so do yourself a favor and move on to somewhere else. Somewhere where the management actually cares about families having fun camping with their children and friends.

We arrived the weekend of August 29th we were told at check in the water park was closed due to the health department. We should have been informed before I would of canceled . No pools open either. No one was social disntancing we had a band playing down the street and groups of people gathering without masks . No one enforced masks anywhere. People were walking around without masks e . Our cabin was not sanitized or even looked clean there was dust and everything was dirty. We woke up to do yoga at 9 am and no one was there. No workers not one person. I would not recommend this place we left after one night my kids were very disappointed! Our experience was not what we expected.

We have stayed in cabins at Jellystone for the past 10 tears. This year had me rethinking next year's visit. We pulled up to our cabin to see the screen on the porch door flapping. it wouldn't have taken much for them to staple them down. We knew the pond with the inflatables was closed due to deadly algae, you would think that after 4 years of this problem, they would be able to control it. the Laser tag had only 4 working guns, my family could not play together. There were feces in the shower by the pools for at least 2 days, Then the waterpark was shut down. Only one working game in the arcade. Definitely feel that at least a partial refund is warranted. I really do not see us returning next year.

The closest Walmart is about 20 miles away in Warsaw, NY.

Hello Jennifer, A normal two person tent can fit on the RV site anything larger is not recommended. As far as the trick or treat weekend; it depends on how many kids show up. However, upon the children's arrival thy will receive an orange pumpkin tag. Thank you!
