We love this campsite, visited over the years as out children have grown up. There are activities for every age and the music night is great the party too. The river at the bottom of the camp is just the most relaxing and therapeutic place to spend time. Great to leave you troubles behind on holiday. The best spot to...

Soleil Plage is essentially a very well situated and appointed camp site but we did not stay there. We went there to use the canoe facilities. We took the canoe from Soleil Plage waterfront 15 kilometers down the Dordogne to the beach at Vézac. This descent is leisurely and probably the most beautiful with plenty to see along the way, including...

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a pitch next to the river, which was lovely as we were quite secluded - we could see other pitches wouldn't have given quite so much privacy. The site was very clean and the shower facilities were spotless. The pools were great and the temperature of the heated pool was...

We had a fabulous time here in summer holidays with our 3 and 5 year olds. Although the height of the season we flew to Liverpool to Bergerac - a tiny airport- and we were out the airport and in our hire car (through Buggs) in half and hour and on the road to Vitrac! No stress no airport hanging...

This was our first time in this area of France and we loved it. The campsite is very good with a large pool complex with heated and no heated pools. One of the pools is covered. The campsite is large and the pitches are spacious with some bordering the Dordogne River. The reception staff were helpful with good English spoken....

We stayed here for one week in August in our touring caravan, was looking forward to it after reading all the good reviews. However yes it was a disappointment. Yes the site in some ways deserves its five five rating, but in my opinion that it for the location which is stunning right next the river. The touring pitches are...

An amazing campsite. We stayed in one of the chalets which have all the basics you need (no oven), could do with air conditioning in these as they get extremely hot in this weather. A short walk to the river which was much better to swim in than the pool as it was nice and quiet. Tiny fish in there...

We stayed here on our drive up from the South to Dieppe, it was stunning, the showers/toilets were amazingly good, the restaurant lovely, the bar and disco were good, the cocktail list was fabulous! We stayed one night but definitely going for longer next year, really the most beautiful region. Pools were absolutely stunning

Once again Anne, Peter, Pauline and all the staff at Domaine Solieu Plage never fail to provide a truly remarkable stay at the jewel in the Dordogne. This year was our seventh year and we are already booked up for next year. The staff are very helpful and do things with a smile on their faces. I have had the...
