We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend for my husband's 35th Birthday. Cannot fault our stay here. We received a welcome drink on arrival. The reception staff were friendly, and always greeted you with a smile. Everything was within walking distance, I can say that the hotel location was absolutely great. The breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from. Freshly made pancakes & orange juice. The rooms were lovely and clean, beds were very comfortable. the toilet had different amenities, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, tea/coffee-making facilities, and a safe box in the wardrobe which made me so comfortable and feel that all my valuable belongings and passports were safe. Would highly recommend this hotel and we would stay here again

Hotel was dirty and service was bad. Bed sheets weren't changed and room service never. Cleaned the room. I went to the restraubt with my family and we waited 2 hours for our food and only 2 people got their food and the rest got nothing. I asked for iced Spanish latte and they said yes came back 20 minutes later and said they had no ice. So I waited 20 minutes for cappuccino and they said no sugar. But came back 10 minutes later saying they got sugar but I had finished by then. One of my family members ordered chips and drinks. 20 minutes later he got chips and no drink. Needless to say one of the most incompetent restaurant I have been to. I'd say if you like wasting money for horrible inedible food and waiting 2 hours for not even the full amount of food we asked for and barely anything go ahead and enjoy. If you want to save yourself and want decent edible food go anywhere in the country even the huts are better.…

it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in during my work time in Hargeisa. friendly staff, nice food, good room service and a really comfortable bed the GYM was free and was on the rooftop and it had the best view in the city, rooftop restaurant had an amazing view with comfy seating I'm recommending anyone who wants to stay in Hargeisa to choose carro edeg hotel he will never regret

Stayed here for two nights on my way out of Somaliland. The location is very convenient, surrounded by malls and shops. The room was spacious, everything was working, including internet. On the downside, the hand shower had no head and the connection was broken, don't look at details, like broken tiles, broken wall paper, etc. African standard. The breakfast was ok, the first morning there was an omelette station and one had to order the rest from the menu. The second morning there was no station, but a buffet. Maybe they are still trying to figure things out. The coffee was excellent.

One of the best hotels to stay in Hargeisa. Great staff , food, and quit luxury rooms, great location.I would recommend every one visiting hargeysa, it was a great stay. It's a place you feel home and great hospitality. Close to all amenities.

I would advise anyone who is looking for a hotel in the CBD then this is the perfect one around... I would come again and again. The hotel in in the CBD region and has close proximity to all services.

The hotel is amazing, particularly the location, the customer service is another level as the ladies in the reception are very welcoming and helpful, the rooms are very clean and amazing. The drycleaner and the restaurant provide good services

staff was very friendly and the room service was great . I stayed twice at Carro Edeg Hotel initially for 3 nights and later for another 2. The hotel is situated commercial building in downtown Hargeisa. both rooms was comfortable beds filling most of the available space with high cleaning standard there was a sporting channels in the TV . the bathrooms were reasonably spacious with water heater available . Everything was clean and serviced each day with soap and toilet paper regularly replaced. It seemed that the sheets were also changed each day. The room had AC . I can say that I enjoyed my staying in Hargeisa and will definitely come back to Carro Edeg .
