I stayed here for six nights while visiting family in the region. I got the impression of a very well run hotel which provides good value for money. The room was spacious with a great view onto the garden. Particularly impressive was the powerful shower and the strong wifi signal. The friendly, informative staff were another plus, together with the... More

i just stayed one night in this hotel. The garden and (small) swimming pool are an oasis in Ziguinchor. I had a room next to the reception which was large and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. We can drink cold beers in the bar located just in front of the hotel and the staff is... More

The front desk staff is unfriendly. I had no running water in my room one day of our stay, and when I went down to tell the staff, the ladies really couldn't care less. One actually gave me a nasty look like I was bothering her. I had to make a bit of a fuss to get them to do... More

The hotel in the town center had nice spacious rooms with a big bathroom. The room next to the garden (rooms next to the swimmingpool are cheaper) had an ac unit yet no mosquito net, instead the sprayed a solution into the room every evening. The french breakfast was served next to the swimmingpool and was okay. The staff was... More

This I s the hotel to stay at when visiting Zig. The rooms are clean, comfortable and just what you need after a day in the hot sun. We will be staying here again. The friendly staff, with huge smiles really makes this place.

We stayed here after a gruelling journey from Colorado with our large dog. We were moving to Guinea Bissau and this was a very welcome stop along the way. Our dog had to stay in the car (they were worried she'd bark, but she ended up baking because she was away from us in the car). Aside from the cultural... More

After a slightly rough entrance the staff was able to figure out our room assignments and to their credit one of them spoke good English so that was nice. Pool was clean and the kids had a great time. Room was three star clean with some parts of the bathroom still under construction. AC worked good but it was one... More

My stay in the Flamboyant came at the end of my trip to the Casamance region, and it was the perfect way to end it! The rooms and bathrooms are pristine, there is air conditioning, wifi, and warm water (something rare in Senegal). I stayed in a larger garden-facing room, and the view is beautiful. It's more expensive considering other... More

I stayed here last year during a mission trip. It was amazing to step out of a van on a very West African street and enter a hotel you would find at resorts in the Caribbean. The room I was in was next to the pool and basic but clean and well kept. I was able to visit other rooms... More
