Nice place with good food, nice service, good choice of pools and just by the beach. Walking distance from teh village. I advice choosing a bungalow - ypu have a porch and more privacy. And you can make friens with the cats :-)

We have stayed in much better three-star hotels. Lizards and centipedes in the bungalows. The food is tasteless and made of poor quality ingredients. Dishes poorly rinsed - smell of chemicals. Staff speaks little English, favoring guests who speak their language. The water in the shower is cold, sometimes just lukewarm. There are big waves in the ocean, there is no breakwater nearby, so you can't even swim peacefully. Value for money - a misunderstanding. We will certainly not return to this hotel.

We try our best to satisfy our guests' palates by offering a different selection of culinary experiences, but as preferences vary from person to person, it's not always easy to please everyone. Old bungalows very damaged, it was grate please 30 years ago. Now it’s one star damaged place with bad cousin. It’s a place for travel agencies that offer little and earn a lot. Polish tour agency ITAKA earn a lot of money send tourists to places like this. Everything looks worse then on life let’s. the rooms are old and worn out, food is low quality, everything is in low quality. It is place with one star. If you have possibilities choose different places.

We have spent 7 nights in this hotel. Hotel has 3 pools and easy access to beach just behind walking street. Food was quite OK, of course mostly fish but also tasty fruit and desserts. A la carte restaurants generally also OK. Animation team and activities unfortunately weak... Not so much to do in this hotel. Gym professional but you need to enter it from outside part of hotel and also accessible for not guests of hotel. For me it was not a problem. Rooms in bungalows OK besides a few cocroaches I have seen during a stay. You can go by foot to the centre of Santa Maria in 10 minutes which was great. Airport 20 minutes by car.

Beautiful place but very average hotel. These bungalows are a misunderstanding, the idea itself is very good, but they are heavily underinvested, the toilet stinks that it's hard to sit still, all sorts of bugs and hot water is only episodic. And we asked for a change to the deluxe version anyway, because the usual one was scary to enter. Another big minus is the restaurant and the dishes served there. The restaurant room is at least half too small for the number of people staying in the hotel. Huge queues everywhere, no place to sit, very limited choice of food, empty food containers... sometimes we just turned on our heels and went to eat a snack in a snack bar so as not to waste time and nerves. On the plus side: great service, very nice and helpful people, the beach and the ocean like a picture postcard, the most beautiful we've seen so far - WONDERFUL. If someone likes beer, they have delicious draft. Overall the hotel deserves a maximum of 3 stars. We will definitely visit this place again, but certainly not in this hotel.…

This was a return visit after we first stayed here 7 years ago, it didn't disappoint. Other hotels have sprung up further away from the town & may be newer & better equipped but the 'garden bungalows' at the Belorizonte are what makes this hotel great & our holiday so relaxing. Love the different restaurants & bars within the grounds, the beach bar is great for a late afternoon cocktail as the sun goes down & good for an evening meal too. Beds are comfy, bathroom functional, decor a little tired but more than adequate. The island atmosphere remains 'no stress' & the pedestrianized town center has some good bars worth visiting. Already planning a further return next year if all goes to plan :)

Decent resort but the bungalows are a bit worn so depending on your expectations that might be a deal-breaker, but it's nice and clean and friendly staff. The public areas at the resort are well maintained, though. The food at the buffet is okay, pretty standard all-inclusive buffet-style, the same goes for the drinks - but beware of many guests at the main buffet at dinner and breakfast opening hours, so consider wait 1-1½ hour before a visit here. Close proximity to the beach, which is really nice and clean and a beach bar not far away and also a short stroll from the city center. In general we had a nice stay, value for money depends on the prize you're offered of course and you could probably find a better resort for the same money with a bit of planning.

Yes, it was a good holiday, nice bungalow (563) the cleaner kept it very clean, everything worked well and Santa Maria bar Fabio's partners were always happy (Brandy man), the environment was clean with beautiful flower plantings, the food was good (Santa Maria restaurant would need soundproofing echoes very) the staff was competent with joy and quick. The beach is absolutely amazing with its bar. THANK YOU.

We were in bungalow near the beach. Ocean is amazing, long beach is the biggest advantage of the hotel. You can book here 3 nice thematic diners: grilled fished in the beach bar, traditional meal at restaurant Pedro de Lume and one Italian food. Pedro de Lume restaurant was the best in my opinion. Few swimming pools, rooms were cleaning every day. Good stay during winter season in Poland. Amazing weather.

Don’t know if beacon is expancive but they don”t have it here. The breakfirst are ok, the Wifi works only close to the reception. The ala carte is a joke at the hotel, they can’t cook food. If you don’t have any expertations you maybe can eat it. Scale from 1-5 is zero. Pool areas ok! The personal are nice. Visit Leonardo or resturantes beside the pier they are good. Don’t eat at lobstar if you are scandinavian. Lobster are like a rubber duck.
