This small hotel is an ideal position, very close to the beach and town centre. The food is amazing and there is plenty of choice for the drinks. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I spent very good time there and I will absolutely recommend it.

We have had a great week in Porta do Vento. The staff are kind and very helpful. We had dinner there two times. Absolutely no complains. So much better than a resort. Everywhere there is a nice atmosphere and it is clean and with a cosy bohemian style. Thanks for making our holiday so great. Keep up the good work🤗...

This hotel was able to accommodate us last minute with a phone call for a 2 night stay. It is a short walk to the beach and centre of santa maria on a quiet street. There is a nice porch area and restaurant for breakfast and other meals if required. Our room had a balcony, but this was quite exposed...

This hotel is not for the all inclusive crowd. This caters for the traveller who likes the home comforts (good food, space to relax, a little bit of spoiling and individuality). The hostess and staff are always on hand to help (either with the language or recommendations as to what to eat) although having said that they are able to...

We stayed here over the Christmas period and loved it! So relieved to be in a place full of character and atmosphere rather than the inclusive resorts and apartments that are mushrooming outside Santa Maria. The accommodation was extremely clean. Breakfasts were enjoyable. Camille who runs the hotel is a real character and very kind and helpful, with a great...

Had a lovely stay here for the week, you are away from the hustle of the Main Street but only a five minute walk. The rooms were clean, couple of issues with the showers but these were always sorted out quickly. We stayed in a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was filling, bread, banana, yoghurt and hone made cake and...

Nice peaceful location 7min far from beach, cosy common porch, spacious and clean rooms. Here, you will breathe a special kind of genuine homely vibe, that rare mix of helpful friendliness along with laid-back discretion. Definitely, Camilla has that delightful 'plus' that makes the big difference from mainstream jumbo hotels.

I visited this small but perfectly run hotel in late February and feel a bit guilty about leaving it so long to write this review. As a single traveller and a mature lady I often prefer the anonymity of a larger establishment but this was a welcome change. I was made to feel so welcome right from my arrival. The...

A Hotel with 15 rooms and very friendly staff. This creates a familiar feeling. The owner has managed to create a small hotel with atmosphere not far from the beach. The beaches will take your breath away. It is like to be in Carabien.
