Hotel good if you want to just chill with nothing much more going on. Not the all inclusive we are used to.... not much food choice but the food that was there was edible (usually only one of each dish at mealtimes - fish, meat, potato, rice, veg and pasta) although not much choice of salad or vegetarian options. Soft...

This hotel could not be described as luxurious (despite the 4* rating), but it is clean and pleasant. The hotel staff are friendly and the secluded location means it is a nice place to relax. There are some pretty coastal walks from the hotel, but if you want to go into town you will probably need to take a taxi...

Room was large and kept clean, but very dated. Food and drink for All Inclusive very poor and limited. The wine tasted like battery acid, not many alcohol drinks included, food wise only 1 meat, 1 fish, pasta, rice and veg, salad very poor only ever tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber and maybe 1 other dish, also only 2 desserts to choose from....

Food never hot left in metal trays with one burner underneath which seemed inadequate to keep the food hot. I suspect that the food was already cold once it was placed on the burners. Staff in reception, restaurant and bar very surly - no acknowledgement or smile! Hotel rooms in the middle of village with a 40 room apartment block....

Visited here with family and friend, on arrival we were shown to our rooms. They are very basic, but clean and comfortable. The complex consists of villas, which are privately owned, with the "hotel" which is a long 2 storey building has the rooms at the rear of the complex. These I believe are slowly being refurbished. There is a large...

This is a compound right on the shore that also has a small hotel section; the rest is made up of houses owned by people who go there on vacation. There is a great swimming pool and a small beach. It was quite windy when I was there in February, however. All you can eat lunch and dinner (CVE1000: wonderful...

First of all, although there is always room for improvement, our holiday at Murdeira village was definitely worth the money. Where the 5.1 evaluation comes from is a mystery to me. Maybe these people just made the wrong choice. For us, the evaluation could certainly be between 7.5 and 8.0 The main negative point is the usual lack of hot...

Recently stayed here sept 2015. Accommodation was right at the back of the village. No facilities to have tea or coffee in your room. Basic standard rooms. All inclusive but you cannot get a hot drink until after 8am at breakfast. No labels on the food so difficult to know what you were eating. Staff speak very little English which...
