I will try to make a review as compact as possible: Pros 1 - Room The room (2227- see the view), basic, but everything was working fine. we never use the Tv, no idea what's on it, or what channels. We ordered beer, cola, fanta, sprite and water for the room, the fridge was always full of something. There is no sparkling mineral water on offer at the hotel, only still, it has to be brought from the city by taxi and costs 10€ extra. Why? I don't know. We used water from the sink to brush our teeth but always used mouthwash afterwards to rinse our mouths, no explosive surprises like in Egypt. AirCon tip - put it on ECO mode, Fixed blade, and you can sleep without any issues. Tip - never ever leave the windows or the balcony door open after sunset, you will get Gekos or mosquitoes inside, why risk it? Single bed, very good mattress, like home. Clean every day, no problems at all. 2 - Garden The garden is tended by an army of gardeners, very nice, lots of greenery and flowers, in one day I saw the infamous "masked" worker taking care of the palm trees. Coconut trees everywhere, sometimes you can find a coconut on the ground. 3 - Dining hall: Quite clean, good food to choose from every day, you can also find something to eat for vegans or vegetarians. * Tip - try the Coconut donuts desert, best coconut. * Tip - best coffee is at Lobby Bar, I drink only Espresso. And yes, the food sometimes is recycled, you can eat it, I am still alive :D A la Carte - we only went once, we won a free table at the Bingo game, but it's not our thing, so I can't give you too many details about it. - The pool The pool is large, there's plenty of free places to lounge. - The beach Beach it's dreamy, fine sand, volcanic rocks, shells everywhere. Unfortunately you can't swim, in the 14 days we were there the flag was red every time. If you are a good swimmer you can visit the beach next to the hotel (Riu) there they put the yellow flag, and you can swim, the entrance to the ocean is smoother. 4 - Animation Team: - These people go to great lengths to get you to get your butt off and move. Thanks a lot to Maira, Eden, Eder, Lori, Mateo, Paulo, Andrea, Cece, Gaia, Marco, Georgia, Micky and Elena. *If I have misspelled a name - please excuse me. If you arrive at this hotel please don't miss the Tropical and Cape Verde show, strength and power in dance. Yes, I know, they can't compare to the shows seen in Turkey, where the Russian ballet puts on top-notch shows, but their effort and imagination put in is worth your time. In case you want to drink till you drop, there is a bar at the amphitheater :P Every day there are games, stretching, Zumba, aqua gym, polo, darts, beach volleyball, bingo is free, it costs you nothing to participate. *tip - is possible that someone from the team will film the action and make a small clip, if you participate in a game, in the evening you see the images shown at the show, it would be nice to be notified about it, for me it was not a problem. Negatives: 1 - Room. The balcony door opened strangely (2227), you had to be careful not to get blocked. On the 5th day the light bulb in the bathroom burned out, or stopped working, we managed without it, having the light in front of the bathroom. The sink is separate from the bathroom. 2 - Dining hall: Sometimes the meat is uncooked, watch out and check it. *If you take more than 1-2 pieces of meat already the chefs give you strange looks. 3 - Pool: Sun beds need some repairs and a pressure cleaning pronto. 4 - Game room The only "games room" has only a table tennis table. Management - please make a game room with billiards/Pool tables, rent the table for 10-15 € per hour, I know you will invest 5-6.000€ and you may think you will not earn this money back, but you will in first year. We had dinner at 7pm, until the show at 9:30pm we had a 2 hour break, I would have paid 20€ per hour just to play pool. 5 - Beach: Sun beds need some repairs and a pressure cleaning pronto. Provide smoking areas with ashtrays for those who smoke on the beach. Where do you think cigarette butts go? In the bin? No, in the sand. Nude sunbathing on the beach - what's wrong with these women and why doesn't the management do something about it, at least if it was a nice sight to see... Beach bar got no self service, sometimes you have to wait in line for a glass of water. Tip for Management - somehow make the alcohol free drinks dispensers free, like at the pool bar restaurant. Why wait for 4-5 cocktails to be made when I can help myself to a cola or water. 6 - Pool - Use a lot of chlorine in the pool, they throw it with a bucket in the evening, the smell is killing it. *Why are small children as young as 1 year, 1 year and a bit old allowed in the adult pool when there is a children's pool a few meters from the adult pool? One day a child did a poop or threw up in the pool, of course the water was not changed. 7 - Lobby service it's sometimes a hit and miss. Marvin at the front desk did a superb job, plotting with my wife, she managed to give me a pleasant birthday surprise. When it was my wife's birthday Marvin was free, I have made a reservation for my wife birthday and in the evening, surprise, the reserved table did not exist because Lobby did not pass it on to the restaurant. That's it, it happens, everything can't be perfect. All in all - if you don't have high expectations - you can have a quiet holiday in this truly No Stress hotel. Now to talk to the tourists: - If you're one of those people who orders prosecco at 7am or Whisky on the rocks at 8:30am - you're at the perfect hotel. The quality of the tourists leaves something to be desired, as I don't drink alcohol at 7 in the morning I don't know what it's like. - Leave some tips if you order something, you will not be poorer if you give 100-200 euros in a holiday, a thank you is nice, but 1-2€ coin is more nicer, the locals are working for you for 200-250€ per month, don't be stingy, it's a shame. I gave 300€ tips on this 2 week holiday and don't regret a cent. Conclusion - if I want to relax I will definitely come to this hotel.…
