A group of four stayed here three nights, two in each of two rooms. There are several buildings of four rooms apiece, staggered in a hilly area amidst pines and birches. It is VERY quiet here. No noisy partiers the weekend we were here. We skied Gore during the day, and wanted to eat and drink well in the evenings....

This place is old. Like walking back into the 70's. It is in need of some serious attention. If you want something that is what a base level hotel offers...keep looking. This place is clean BUT there are holes in the ceiling and a lot of basic things that aren't well cared for. Our bed fell out of the frame...

My son & I stayed here in January (mid week) and arrived on a cold night (3F). The place was warm, had hot water and was very quiet and remote. We got a good night's sleep and headed into North Creek for breakfast the next day and eventually skied Gore Mountain. An inexpensive way to visit Gore and enjoy the...

May not be fancy, but you get what you NEED. A cabin-like room, comfy beds, hot water...oh and did I mention the rooms are spacious? After a day of skiing, those are the only things you need. Rich, the owner was very accomodating and hospitable. He makes you feel like family. He even called me on our way up being...

If you want a hot shower, rooms with character and a friendly staff close to the slopes – this is the place for you. Great place to stay when skiing at Gore Mountain. Rooms are well worn, but clean...

I have been staying at this place for 15 years when I ski gore, the best kept secret on the east coast. This place is all about a hot shower, warm comfortable bed and cleand room/ cabin. Never an issue, always a good stay. The mountain acess rd is just a few hundred feet away, just so easy. The host...

If you're looking for an authentic mountain experience with down- home cooking, then this is the place. Sure, the cabins are a bit rough, bathrooms are in need of sprucing up, and the furniture's banged up a bit--but the water's nice and hot, water pressure's fine, and the last two times I've stayed there, mattresses new and truly comfortable. So...
