Detailed Reviews
We had such a lovely time at Gore Mountain Lodge for an early January ski trip! We had initially booked a stay at another hotel, only to have the venue cancel our reservation a week ahead of our trip. Matthew at Gore Mountain Lodge seriously saved the day when I reached out to him about our predicament, and not only found me a room, but also was so generous in doing so. It was clear to me from all communications with him that the Lodge is a family business that prides themselves on hospitality and going the extra mile for their guests.
The room was delightful, with extra touches like a complimentary bottle of seltzer and a bag of Swedish Fish (yum!). We fully enjoyed Becks for dinner, and took advantage of the *very* cozy yurts. The wood burning stoves were lovely and warm, and we spent hours inside playing board games and relaxing. The convenience to both Gore Mountain and the restaurants and shops in town were excellent, and they provided some wonderful dinner recommendations! We can't wait to come back :)

Couple work friends and I booked a last minute trip to Gore when we saw a storm rolling in. We chase storms and always look for close easy Friendly lodging. Gore Lodge did not disappoint. Bar within walking distance keypad door locks with codes emailed or texted to you made the check in super simple. Decided last minute to extend the stay and a quick email response gave the OK.
This place is what every ski resort needs. I will 100% book a stay here again when i see another dump coming. They even left sweedish fish on the nightstand for the guests. Family run with a family touch. Only downside no breakfast so pack it in. Grab dinner and a beer next door within walking distance great food great service as well.
When we had to quickly cancel our second night due to an injury in the group the owners were super accommodating and couldn’t be nicer.
This place is the real deal. Will be back for sure

We spent 4 nights at Gore Lodge. We loved the community that the owners have created: a creative and useful room with original art, a myriad of shelves and hooks, and a comfortable chair with a good reading light. The complex includes a decent restaurant/bar and we enjoyed live music 3 of the nights we were there. The nearby town of North Creek has some interesting stores and restaurants, and you can hike right out of the parking lot.

When first stepping into your room, you can see how much time and love was put into this place. The yurts, German restaurant (Becks) and accessible bonfires/trails make this resort a fun filled vacation for all ages. We loved it so much, we stayed 2 weekends in a row. We will definitely be back back soon. The Bonfante Family.

Stayed here on our leaf peeping tour of the Adirondacks. We booked this online. We saw the pics and “Lodge” and imagined a different kind of of facility. It seems to be a refurbished motel. That said the beds were great, and the room extremely clean. Becks restaurant was only open Thursday-Sunday which I understand and we were notified via email prior to arriving. Still disappointed. There is parking and free wifi. However for leaf season, we felt the charge for the room was high.

The motel is just a basic motel. But- What I love about this place is the whole “compound”. There’s a really good German/American restaurant on premises and they have Yurts- one of which is a bar and the other is set up as a little community living room type space. We were there in summer and during COVID but I can imagine in the winter during normal times it’s great to come back after a day of skiing and warm up by the stove and have a drink in the yurt. I thought they so different and unique. Also they had live music out on a big lawn space on the premises some nights. The place just has a cool vibe. Only thing I wished the restaurant was open every night (it wasn’t open one of the nights we were there and there wasn’t much else in the town open). Really glad to have found this place. I’d defiantly go back!

We had done some research and were truly looking for a place that was not "corporate". We hit a jackpot! This property is deceiving from the road, it is not just a motel, but has a restaurant/tavern with great food, along with yurts! We enjoyed their Octoberfest with great country live band and their property which extends for several miles with hiking trails. Highly recommend staying here!

At the last minute we planned a trip to the Adirondacks and had a few nights booked in Lake Placid but wanted to add a night somewhere else. I came across this little Gem. This Mom and Pop motel on the side of the Road was Just what we needed. One Very comfortable King Bed and a bunk bed for my teens. Clean, comfortable, fridge microwave.. Cute furnishings. We played Corn hole, had a late lunch at the adjacent restaurant which had decent food: There is a beautiful hiking trail towards the back which was great: There was a nice campfire, many chairs to sit in, pretty area to enjoy the outdoors, a local band played music. We had a great stay. It was close to Gore Mountain activities. Reasonable Rates. Perfect.

Classic roadside lodge redone smartly. The room was Clean, comfortable and spacious. The owners were accommodating and friendly. The restaurant on the premises, Beck's Tavern, was convenient with good German food and beer. I'll be back. Recommended.

The mountain has some nice ski trails and good variety of green, blue and black runs. Signage is good. Fortunately it snowed the night before our first ski day, so conditions were great.
The resort would be nicer if it had a tubing area. Even though the mountain is nice for skiing, the area really lacks sufficient dining and bar options.
