The staff are lovely people & you can see them jump in to help , even if it was not their job. The room was very comfortable. The restaurant at breakfast seemed very busy and short on staff and they ran out of a lot of food options.
The Red Coach B&B is not only a place to stay, it's a romantic, historic hotel that brings the elegance of a time gone by and yet gives its guests a first class experience. Our room The Sheffield Suite was breathtaking the moment we walked into the main room. The king size bed is adorned with a canopy that looks onto the brass fireplace. A comfortable, cozy settee sits across from the fireplace. The room has a Bose player for atmosphere music, Keurig, and refrigerator. It also provides champagne and wine glasses! The food in the restaurant was excellent! We sat near the wood-burning fireplace for dinner and looked across the street at the Niagara river for breakfast. The hotel is across the street from Goat Island and walking distance to both views of the falls. We'll definitely visit again!…
The room was exactly what we were expecting. The restaurant had very good food and nice staff. Would definitely recommend. Really close to everything you would want to see in Niagara Falls. Great getaway!
Beautiful old hotel with all the modern conveniences. Excellent restaurant on site with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect location within easy walking distance of Niagara Falls and the State Park. We watched the fireworks over the falls each night while sitting in front of the hotel.
Lovely hotel with a beautiful view. We watched the fireworks from our room. It has the perfect location to do Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and the State Park. Park your car and just walk everywhere. It's a beautiful walk by the water!
Wonderful place to stay for a trip to the falls! My daughter and I stayed two nights and the location can’t be better. We parked the car and didn’t touch it til we left, we explored the park briefly after a lovely dinner at the Inn on the their deck the first night. We were a bit tired so we watched the parks fireworks from the hall window, the next night the temp dropped and the wind kicked up so the bench out front of the Inn was perfect after we quit the falls viewing area. Our room had probably the coldest frig ever and the Inn had water and glasses stashed inside which was a perfect mid afternoon break. The location was ideal, it was a 5 minute walk to the falls. The included breakfast was delicious ! The staff couldn’t have been more attentive and everyone appeared to be hustling. Enjoyed the bar and ability to take a drink back to our room. There is a sweet little coffee shop next door and the visitor center is right behind the Inn. Haven’t traveled much obviously in the past few years but The Red Coach Inn and Niagara Falls area seems to remember how to do it right! Would highly recommend the Inn.…
Great room. 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 2 baths. We could see the rapids from our third floor window. Great restaurant with free breakfast each morning. Walking distance to the major attractions. We stayed in the Cheshire unit. This trip was our 50th wedding anniversary.
We were so impressed when we realized that our view of the rapids was beyond comparison. From our room is was so easy to walk to everything we wanted to see, Goat Island, the Falls themselves and could we ask for a better place to see the nightly fireworks? No, they were basically right there.
As a couple we stayed in the Canterbury Suite, it has been updated to fit the historic nature of the Inn. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The living room windows faced the Upper Falls, We appreciated the blackout curtains in the bedroom. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. No room cleaning service, you fill out a form of the items you need replenished and put dirty items outside your door. Location was very good for walking. We ordered dinner the 1st night and the food was mediocre, our experience at breakfast was much better. Overall, it was a nice peaceful stay, centrally located in the park, pleasant staff and comfortable.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the Cheshire Room. Pros: There was a lot of room for our family. The windows could open; it was nice to feel the breeze and hear the seagulls screaming at each other. Very Niagara. We enjoyed the restaurant and the free breakfast was awesome. My daughter LOVED the robes. The place was quiet and charming. Cons: There was no elevator, so travel light. Also, the Wi-Fi connection was terrible, and it seems it could have easily been remedied by a booster or two places strategically around the building. The beds are very firm - too much for my liking but I’m a baby. An extra set of sheets for the sofa bed would have been helpful.
