We stayed at Enfield Manor for the weekend in the Harriet Tubman suite and truly enjoyed our stay. Inez and Tom are wonderful and thoughtful hosts; it was nice to have Inez welcome us right upon our arrival and she thoroughly showed us and explained everything about our room and the property so we could feel comfortable. The area was very quiet and peaceful, the property and scenery was beautiful, and the suite itself was very clean, organized, and nicely decorated with an in-suite bathroom. It was really nice to have an in-room refrigerator with a kitchenette right outside with a microwave, coffee maker, cutlery etc. The rest of the house has very unique decorations/art/plants and if you’re looking for a way to relax, you could just sit in the front room, porch, or outside just to admire the surroundings.

The delicious breakfast was also a nice start to our busy days and we really appreciated how Inez accommodated our specific dietary needs and preferences. Sweet and savory options were offered that included things like eggs, french toast, muffins, homemade bread and currant jam (amazing!); it was all delicious and nicely presented. A bonus to our stay was being able to meet and play with their adorable and sweet golden retrievers, Sally and Floyd! How excited they were to greet us anytime we were around. The location also was great to go to many different places without traveling too far (Ithaca, Watkins Glen, etc.)
Overall, we were happy with our stay and definitely recommend you to book your next trip at this B&B while exploring the Finger Lakes!

Thank you so much for your elaborate review! We introduced the kitchenette on the first floor so that guests can dine "at home" as well. Many go to Wegmans, the nearby grocery store, which has a huge range of take away, packaged food. There is nothing better than to bring back a tasty meal and relax on our patio or by the fire pit with a bottle of wine purchased from one of the (more than 100) local wineries! And....it is not so expensive! But if you feel like dining out, Ithaca has more restaurants per capita than New York City! So you wont go hungry! We are grateful for your detailed review and hope to see you again this year!

We just spent a week in the Ithaca area and stayed at the Enfield Manor B&B in Newfield. We had a wonderful time. The inn is very comfortable and the hosts (Inez and Tom) made us feel like we were at home. My wife had tweaked her back just before our trip begin and Inez recommended her chiropractor and called for an appointment. That is service! The breakfast was delicious, filling and very satisfying. Tom was up early preparing breakfast and made our pre-breakfast coffee for us each morning. We stayed in Harriet Tubman room which was roomy and had great views. Our stay was during the coronavirus times so on a couple of evenings we did take-out from restaurants and ate the meal on the patio which was wonderful. The next time we are in Ithaca area we will stay here again.

We stayed two nights in the comfortable Alex Haley room with a bathroom right across the hall from our bedroom. Everything was spotless and much attention was given to our comfort.
The breakfasts were delicious and made to order with fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh berries and other local ingredients.
Inez and Tom could not have been more accommodating and were interesting to talk with regarding their world travels and experiences.
The property is stunning and well cared for, filled with unique plants and water features. Inez and Tom personally care for the land and Inez is well versed in the plantings. We suggest taking the time to walk the property when you visit this little oasis.

We thank you fo taking the time to write us this lovely review! We love our beautiful property and over the years have created various flower gardens which are actively visited by humming birds, butterflies and all sorts of other creatures. We do it all ourselves and I think this personal touch makes all the difference......... And we enjoy spoiling our guests with a home made breakfast "fresh from the pan": Many of you have busy working lives with a hurried breakfast to start off the day. To have a relaxing breakfast on our patio is part of the experience of your stay at Enfield Manor! We hope to see you again some time!

The location is close to great hiking areas, wineries, and breweries in the Finger Lakes. We stayed for two nights in the Alex Haley room, which was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were incredible and our hosts Inez and Tom were helpful and hospitable. They gave us great recommendations about local points of interest and even invited their guests to sit around the fire pit in their lovely yard one night. I would highly recommend staying here!

Our first impression of Enfield Manor was Floyd and Sally greeting us with tails wagging! Our stay only got better from that warm welcome. The tasty breakfasts prepared by Inez and Tom and eaten overlooking their beautiful property were a peaceful way to ease into the day. From there, with our hosts advice, we hiked and biked through several of the nearby state parks and enjoyed the finger lakes region. We also took advantage of the nearby cheese farm, wineries, breweries and excellent restaurants. The relaxed atmosphere Inez and Tom have created allowed for us to become friendly with the other guests, as well as our hosts. We look forward to visiting Inez, Tom, Sally and Floyd again in the near future.

What a beautiful house and great people Inez and Tom are! My wife and I spent our first anniversary here. Everything was perfect. The food was amazing and personalized (we are vegan) - we ate on the patio each morning and watched the wildlife. It's close enough to Ithaca and Watkins Glen, but off the beaten path for some peace and tranquility. Lucifer Falls is literally four minutes away and a wonderful alternative to the crowded Watkins Glen State Park. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I just returned from an amazing two night stay with Enis, Tom and their ambassadors Floyd and Sally dogs. We stayed with our beagle in the Harriet Tubman room spacious and immaculate. We immediately felt at home with the hosts welcoming in addition to a folder that provides additional information and encouragement to make any requests known. Our dietary requests shared before arrival were done thoughtfully and creatively. Music added to our exceptional breakfasts enjoyed on the porch with amazing views. Everything is exceptional at the Manor— the hosts, the manor’s interior and the natural setting outdoors. There are many sitting areas outside for any time of the day. We were in awe of the beauty at any moment of the day. Enis & Tom are truly dog people understanding our pets slow adjustment to new surroundings. My husband & I truly appreciated the peace of the country yet within 15 minutes of Ithaca's dog friendly attractions. We chose to enjoy the many state parks after the long pandemic. We would return in a 💓 heartbeat.

Thank you for this impressive review! It was understandable that your aging beagle needed some time to adjust, knowing that his earlier life had been spent in a cage. We extend a warm welcome to dogs and continue to enjoy their different personalities! We are glad you enjoyed the beauty of our 15 acre property and we are glad to be able to share it with other people, especially now, during these trying pandemic times. We are looking forward to your next visit!

I cannot rave about this B&B enough! The setting is gorgeous, quiet, & as comfortable as your favorite pillow. Inez & Tom stored our bicycles in their garage, suggested places to see including bike trails, cooked delicious breakfasts & shared their home & property. There are several gorges nearby with stunning waterfalls, i.e., Robert Treman & Watkins Glen State Parks. Ithica is ~ 20 minute car ride. Multiple wineries are nearby. Hiking, biking & kayaking are near as well. We bought carry out & ate it on their lovely garden side patio. Expertly planned, there is a kitchenette where you are supplied with plates, flatware, coffee, etc if carry out is your preference. You won’t find a better view. It was so hard to leave!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this glowing review! There is a lot to do in this area and it is very pet friendly as well (and so are we!!!) Thank you for pointing out our location, close to everything! It was a great idea to bring your bikes so you could enjoy some of the great off road biking trails around here. And thank you for mentioning the kitchenette which gives our guests the option to either eat "in" or "out" and relax on our patio with a bottle of wine purchased from one of the over 100 local wineries. We are glad that you enjoyed yourselves and hope to see you again some time! Regards, Inez and Tom

We wanted to stay away from big, crowded hotels due to Covid-19 concerns and we definitely made the right choice. We spent two nights at Enfield Manor Bed and Breakfast in mid-July. Inez and Tom are wonderful hosts (and great cooks!) and their extended family (the gorgeous goldens!) were great as well. We appreciated the pointers on hiking trails and really enjoyed starting our days with an outdoor breakfast overlooking the scenic view. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous time at the Enfield Manor B&B. The B&B is beautiful and is situated on a gorgeous property within close proximity to downtown Ithaca. The owners, Inez and Tom, went out of their way to make us feel at home. Inez' breakfasts-homemade muffins and jams, fresh fruit and a menu of delightful entrees-are not to be missed.
What wonderful people, and their two Golden Retrievers, Floyd and Sally, added magic and lots of hugs to our stay.
I would highly recommend this B&B and definitely plan on going back!

Thanks you for your lovely review. We do take pride in our 15 acre property. Floyd and Sally are not only our enthusiastic greeters but they also keep the many deer at bay. Without them we would not be able to have all the flowers surrounding our patios where you can enjoy your breakfast! we are looking forward to your next visit!
