1870 house definitely in need of a facelift and some uncluttering. Bedroom was comfortable but needs light over sink. TV minute and a relic. Better not to have one. Would not recommend. Breakfast also just OK.

My sister and I stayed here during a weekend trip to the area. It's a very convenient location to just about everything we wanted to do, from hiking to kayaking and the Dia Beacon. We were very comfortable and at ease with the owner, had a great breakfast, and enjoyed the views from the home.

My partner and I spent the weekend here when we came to see an exhibition at DIA, Beacon. The exhibition at Beacon was all we had hoped for, but this B & B made our weekend a perfect trip. (If you are going to see an exhibition at DIA, this is the perfect place to stay as it is only...

Spent a night during the chill of February 2015. My fiancé and I spent a night in the Beau Rivage room after attending a Leo Kottke concert in Beacon. After checking in, the wood was restocked and we enjoyed tea before leaving for the concert. Upon returning, we built a fire, which continued crackling into our transition to sleep. Waking...

My wife, my parents and myself came to Newburgh that day after Thanksgiving. My wife and me had already booked a room at the Stockbridge Ramsdell House, and my parents were just coming in with us to stay warm while we checked in, as they were planning on heading back home after dinner. Well our host built us a fire...

Nancy and Parish made my gf and I feel like family during our Oct. 24-26 stay in the charming, historic B&B with great views. We stayed in the Beau Rivage room on Friday and the Ferry Crossing room on Saturday. I'm happy we experienced both. You can't go wrong with either one. Waking up to the smell of their breakfasts...

Nancy and Parrish were like family and good cooks to boot. A classic house on a street full of Victorian and older homes. In the large sitting room we entertained our children from New York City one evening. Felt just like home. Great view of the Hudson. Quiet (except for us). A number of good restaurants not far away. We...

We spent one night in this beautiful old house in August. We were in the bridge view room with beautiful sight on the river. Comfortable sleeping and quite. The breakfast was gorgeous with a lot of home made delights. I definitely recommend Stockbrige Ramsdell House.
