Nice clean, safe place to stay, free breakfast, nice pool. Pool came in handy since it was very hot when we were there. Close to all of the places we wanted to see. Staff very nice and helpful. Typical breakfast items, but good.
Shout out to the manager for declining a PAID reservation for college students looking to utilize a room for showers during a DECLARED WATER EMERGENCY. She didn't care and wasn't in the slight bit interested in hearing about the situation. It wasn't her problem. Way to go manager! Great customer service. I hope all SUNY New Paltz friends and fam take their business elsewhere; anywhere else.
My daughter and her friend book this hotel for two nights. The room smell and had bugs. They checked out after one night. The reception was very rude at check in and would not give a refund for there second night. Also they refuse to give a receipt when they checked out.
We arrive to check in and my aunt mentioned the smell which hit you as you walked through the reception. The little receptionist immediately had an attitude saying it was the cleaning chemicals and we could cancel. My aunt was very unhappy with the argumentative little woman and said she wanted to see the room before she decided if we were staying. The receptionist then became aggressive with me. As a visitor from the UK I have never been spoken to this way by anyone. The receptionist then kept shouting repeating you can cancel you can cancel my aunt then asked with out charge she said yes So we cancelled the receptionist then said good I am glad and happy you cancel. We obviously didn't get to see the rooms and from the other reviews I am glad. I don't know how they are staying in business. …
Heading north but saw rain on radar. Found this place looking to avoid the rain on my new Trike. Great location - room was spotless, bathroom clean, carpet looked new and bed felt great. The woman at the desk was so hospitable. We did not have a reservation and got a great room when she saw I was a fireman. Breakfast the next morning was very good consisting of a choice of pastries, juice, cereal and really good coffee. Overall a great night and morning.
