The highest compliment is a return stay. We've just returned from another great stay at the B&B with Sean and Patty being gracious hosts as usual. We normally pick the Hunter Room so that we have direct access to the patio area behind the house where we relax reading, sipping wine, talking, watching the hummingbirds come into the flowers, and... My wife and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary this weekend and decided to make it an unconventional celebration by making it a rock climbing adventure in the Shawna Gunks region of the Catskills mountains in NY. Comfort during our 4 day adventure was a must so we did some research and found a beautiful B and B in... More

Well, we read all the rave reviews here before booking into to Maplestone Inn (we were visiting DIA:Beacon, Vassar and journeying on to the Catskills) and couldn't have been more delighted with our choice. After a month on the road in the USA, from the moment of our arrival this was an oasis of tranquility, beauty and charm. So much... More

My best friend from childhood & I had the perfect girlfriends' getaway at this wonderful B&B. The house is absolutely beautiful, and Patty & Sean have restored & furnished it with impeccable taste & attention to every detail. They have maintained its historic beauty, but added all of the modern comforts that make the stay so comfortable & enjoyable (like... More

The multiple positive reviews you see listed here are accurate and I don't want to repeat what's been stated. But, trust me and make a reservation, visit the Hudson Valley and stay at the MapleStone Inn. You'll be a very relaxed and happy person. The hosts, Patty and Sean, are wonderful and caring, the facilities are tasteful and the breakfast... More

Maplestone has found the perfect balance of the personal touch of a B&B with the privacy couples wish for a get-away. My husband and I stayed in the beautifully appointed and historic Jenkins suite for the week following our wedding in the Hudson River Valley. Sean and Patty were gracious and welcoming hosts who were present when we needed them... More

Recently my husband Jeff and I traveled from California to experience Fall foliage in Lake MInnewaska near New Paltz. We stayed at Maplestone, a lovely stone house with all the amenities and lush grounds as well and felt we were home! Our innkeepers, Sean and Patty were delightful and warm. Patty delivered luscious breakfasts to kick start our day everyday.... More

I can make this really simple: stay here. For those who need more convincing: Maplestone manages to strike the perfect balance in countless ways. The inn itself is immaculate and pristine yet warm and inviting. The food is beautifully and artfully presented, tasty and interesting yet simple, broadly appealing and decidedly un-fussy. Sean and Patty are the consummate hosts, friendly... More

Sean and Patty were amazing hosts! It was raining the night we showed up and they were there waiting by the car with an umbrella. To say their home and grounds were beautiful is an understatement. We stayed in the Hunter room on the main floor. The room was lovely and offered a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We had a... More

Patty and Sean couldn't have been better hosts. The rooms were absolutely lovely (I stayed in "Hunter" on the ground floor). My room was spacious, nicely decorated and exceedingly comfortable. Good reading chair, terrific king-sized bed with more than enough pillows for lounging. Also blessed with beautiful weather so I had the sliding glass doors open to the porch many... More
