Detailed Reviews
My family and I are on day three of a five day stay at Mountain Meadows. It is our first visit, and I am sure we will be back. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. My two children -16 months and 5 years old - love to run on the grass and climb the rocks and swim in the pool. My family of 4 shares one room, Sunflower, which is beautifully appointed and spacious with a super comfortable bed and linens. The room, common areas and outdoor spaces are all generous, exceptionally clean, and decorated in a charming country style.
The real magic of Mountain Meadows is the Host, Marie, and her husband, Joe. Marie has made us feel so welcome, well cared for and at ease throughout the stay. She is extremely accommodating, and maintains a highly organized, extremely tidy and well stocked B&B. The breakfasts are delicious, plentiful and adjustable to the tastes of my young children.
I am so grateful to have found this special place to spend time with my family to unwind and enjoy the New Paltz area.

My husband and I normally stay at airbnbs, but I'm so happy we chose to stay at Maria and Joe's cute bed and breakfast in New Paltz. They are truly wonderful people, and we had such a great time with them.
They are the kindest people. They had extra passes for Mohonk which they gave us, and additionally Maria cooked us the tastiest vegan breakfast! She made a blueberry and apple crumble, a tofu scramble, a sweet potato, spinach salad, with fruit on the side and coffee with almond milk! I don't think I have eaten that good for breakfast in a long time. They were kind enough to let us keep some stuff in their fridge and come back for it later in the day since we were going to be hiking all day.
Also - they have a sweet pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Joe started the fire pit for us after we were in the pool, and Maria gave us everything to make smores. What more could you want during a getaway? Can't wait to come back!

We had a perfect two night getaway. Our host Maria couldn’t have been nicer. Maria’s recommendations for dinners were excellent as well as her suggestion for air ballooning with Above the Clouds. The accommodations were just lovely and the surrounding grounds were beautiful with fantastic views. The location of the BnB was quite convenient and close to everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to return next year. Thank you Maria and Joe.

Not only was the place impeccably clean, comfortable and conveniently located but Maria was an incredible host. The breakfasts were delicious with home baked pastries, eggs and French toast cooked to perfection.
It is obvious that Maria takes great pride with providing comfort and satisfaction to her guests. This was our first visit but we will be back!!

My wife and I were here for three days in October. Our room (the Sunflower Room) was spacious, clean, and bright. Breakfasts were excellent and Maria was a great host. The property is
Located in a spacious meadow and the Bauman’s have set a delightful array of chairs surrounding a fire pit. Highly recommended.

We just returned home from a wonderful weekend at Mountain Meadows Bed and Breakfast and we are already planning our next trip! This was our first time here and Maria and Joe made us feel right at home. They were so welcoming and gave us great recommendation's for things to do in town.
The location of Mountain Meadows is also fabulous!! Five minutes down the road to the right is Robibero Winery, which was amazing and five minutes to the left is town! There was so much to do while we were there but the best part was coming back to the B&B on a cool night to a fire pit that Joe had prepared for us.
I couldn't write a review without mentioning how amazing the breakfast was in the mornings!! I am not even a breakfast person, I usually skip and wait for lunch. This was not the case at Mountain Meadows! There was no-way I was missing out on her dishes. Amazing, and a perfect way to fill our bellies before we hit the Wineries during the day!

Had a terrific weekend in Mountain Meadows B and B.
Maria was a wonderful host and works so hard to accommodate her guests. She made a wonderful breakfast every morning and makes you feel very much at home. Looking forward to returning in the future when we are in the area! Thanks again, Maria!

We enjoyed every minute of our time here! The room was comfortable and the food was delicious. Maria was a lovely host and very well informed about local places to enjoy. Her every recommendation was spot on. I would happily go back, especially in the warmer weather because that pool looks amazing!

We had a lovely stay there, felt like being home. The host was so delightful. She greeted us so pleasantly and had some delicious cookies made for us. When we got back from our dinner, she had the fireplace ready for us. And the next morning, she prepared a great breakfast with fresh farm eggs. The place is kept so clean. We will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I had stayed here under the previous owners. I was thrilled to see what Maria and Joe have done with the place. They updated the decor, linens and furnishings, and everything was absolutely spotless. I have a bad allergy to dust so cleanliness is a high priority for me. This was one of the most comfortable beds i've ever slept in. The pool was huge and just what the doctor ordered on these hot summer days. Maria was responsive and welcoming, but not intrusive. breakfasts were great and made with fresh eggs from their chickens. Maria knows a ton of people in town and had great recommendations for restaurants, farm stands and hikes. it was too hot for the hot tub but we are already trying to plan our next trip to Mountain Meadows!
