This B & B is located in a country setting outside of Naples, NY in the Finger Lakes. We were two couples there for 4 nights as we explored wineries and towns around Canandaigua, Keuka and Seneca Lakes. When returning each day, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch, enjoying the countryside and visiting deer. The entire home is in pristine condition and lovely. The rooms were quite large with a lot of space to spread out and spend several days. Beds very comfortable and nice linens. The two couples who own the B & B were gracious and terrific hosts. The breakfasts were delicious, and they easily accommodated a special diet. We had been worried that we would miss a lake view, however the setting was beautiful, and Naples is very conveniently located with fairly short drives each day to surrounding towns and wineries. We have stayed in many B & Bs around the world through the years and this was one of the very best ones!…
The house was very clean! The hosts were outstanding. Always there to get what you wanted, more coffee, etc., and their breakfast was outstanding. Breakfast is at 9 am, which was perfect allowing for a slow start to the morning. Home made biscuits, jams, were outstanding. The main course was eggs benedict. Again hand made by john. Carol's breakfast service was top notch. She knew how I liked my coffee and made sure it was always warmed. Our room was the garden suite. This room is basically a stand alone apartment. It is in the basement and had a large shower, jacuzzi tub, couch, TV, electric fireplace, door to an outdoor table and chairs. This just a mere walk to the creek and the fire pit. The owners have 20 acres to explore. Now I forgot to ask if there were trails throughout the property, if not, that would be great. Also maybe mountain bikes, or even an ATV to explore the property. Quiet is an understatement, and the night sky is full of stars. They also offer discounts at local restaurants. A must short ride is to the old time country store. Tons of "penny" candies and gifts from the local area. We arrived as guests, but with goodbye hugs from Carol, and a handshake from John, we left feeling like family.…
We anticipated a lovely 4 night stay here while we explored some of the Finger Lakes offerings. We got so much more with a relaxed and unforgettable week of wandering. This is an impressive property, a big white home with rocking chairs on the front porch, high on a big hill with very green grass and flowering trees, brick front walk and the spring front garden sprouting. It’s a few minutes from the Main Street but within a 30 minute drive of many towns, landmarks, wineries and restaurants. We loved feeling away from it all, yet being so close we could get to a few new places every day. Upon our arrival Martina gave us a warm welcome, a super quick checkin, a tour of a beautiful and invitingly appointed home, while she answered our questions and provided suggestions of her personal and local resident favorite places to visit. Our room, the Pembrook, had a king sized bed, was spacious, beautifully furnished, with a nice bathroom, was very clean and quiet. It was a retreat in itself. A different and utterly delicious multi course home cooked breakfast was served at 9am. They included warm scones, waffles, berries, eggs and more. The daily table scape was delightful and sadly I never remembered to get photos of the fine china, crystal, candles, linens, etc. One day I should make the effort to turn breakfast into something to be relished at my own home, but frankly that seems like more way more effort than I can muster after just waking. I’d really have a to do a lot the night before. We generally were so full, that our other meals were lighter than usual as we were not particularly hungry. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fresh baked treats were always available at any time. Martina, Dave, Carol and John certainly delivered the hospitality we expected, but far more than that, they made us feel like very special friends!! We’ve traveled quite a lot and can’t say that about anywhere else we’ve stayed. We’ll always remember our stay here.…
My husband and I recently stayed here for a ski trip get away. We SO enjoyed our visit! . The house is beautiful and the Inn Keepers are so friendly and charming. The 3 course breakfast was outstanding and mostly homemade. Carol was a delight and shared with us some of her culinary talents. The Pembrook room was very cozy. We will be back for sure!!
We were traveling with two other couples for a New Year’s Day hike and beer tasting. We were fortunate enough to dine availability at Another World for a one night stay, to make a weekend of it. The hospitality was second to none and Carol and John went out of their way to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The rooms were gorgeous and the house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We will definitely be finding reasons to come back! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and make this one of your stops.
We had a lovely stay at Another World. Spectacular view, large comfortable room, and a breakfast beyond words. Carol graciously accommodated our schedule (which wasn't hers) and served the most amazing breakfast. We will certainly stay there again on our next trip.
We recently were lucky enough to spend a few nights at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed I. was very comfortable and cozy. The house is immaculate on the inside and out. Breakfast every morning g was AMAZING! We highly recommend Another World Bed and Breakfast. We will definitely visit again in the future!!
My husband and I just returned from a long weekend stay at Another World Bed and Breakfast. This was our second time in the finger lakes and by far the best stay for so many reasons! When I found this place to stay I was so excited reading the reviews and the pictures because it looked beautiful and relaxing. When we pulled up, I was filled with excitement and the veiws were simply breathtaking! We met Carol who checked us in and gave us a tour of the house which we immediately fell in love with. Carol is an amazng person as are the other three owners, John, Martina and Dave. We had the most fantastic breakfast and such amazing conversations. We felt like we were visiting friends that we had not seen in such a long time, but when we left we now had new friends that were now like part of our family. I can't say enough about our stay, the other guest we met the room we stayed in, the food, the place was spotless, sitting on the porch was so relaxing also each day. But, I have to say that most of all I am so happy to have met Carol, John, Martina and Dave. They are not only amazing host but wonderful new friends that my husband and I cant wait to go back and see. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. Terry and Ed…
Had the pleasure to stay here for two nights. The owners were great and the place is beautiful and comfortable. We were made to feel as if we were home. The room and adjoining bath were nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The homemade cookies were a treat every day when we returned from exploring the area. The complete experience was more than we hoped for. Can reccomend highly to anyone traveling to the area.
The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The breakfasts were scrumptious and speaking about breakfast, be sure to ask about the french toast. Our hosts were so much fun and we had wonderful conversations. The house is beautifully decorated and there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy a drink and conversation in the evening.
