My husband and I needed a couple of days away from NYC and decided to head to the Finger Lakes region for the first time. I can't say enough about how much we LOVED the Mountain Horse Farm and the two days we spent there. The property is so stunning, the homemade breakfast each morning was so delicious and the owners/other guest were just delightful. We can't wait to go back!

The Mountain Horse Farm is not to be missed. We stayed in the Percheron room which was lovely - very large with all the conveniences (fridge, hair dryer, etc.) and then some (hot tub, private deck, fireplace). The property is beautiful and is set in a great location for taking advantage of the local sites (wineries, state parks, lakes). Breakfast was great and cooked to order each morning. I had an excellent massage from Megan. I wish that we'd cuddled with the cows and horses but we'll save that for next time. Rudi and Suzanne were great hosts and have created a wonderful oasis. Listening to the sound of rustling leaves on our deck at night was so peaceful. Very clean, lots of thoughtful touches and details, beautifully decorated. Super comfy bed and pillows. The only issue was spotty wi-fi, but frankly, it's a good excuse for not checking email or the news. I'd highly recommend.

What a place! The Mountain Horse Farm offers a chance to escape the hectic pace of life and take in a breath-taking landscape, tranquil surroundings, and second to none hospitality. Our room was immaculate, the view was spectacular, the experience with the horses and cows memorable, the breakfast incredible, and the fireplace, very private porch and hot tub made it all complete. We also enjoyed hiking Grimes Glen Park, meals at Neopolitans and Roots, and a fabulous tour at Wohlschlegels Maple Farm. You seriously should consider booking this experience today!

We loved everything about our visit...a beautiful, quiet room with private deck and hot tub and we were able to watch the sunrise, absolutely delicious homemade breakfasts, and beautiful grounds to walk about. We did the cow/horse experience-what wonderful animals, and our hosts-Suzanne and Ruud-you couldn’t ask for kinder, more hospitable people! Another plus is how close we were to all the conveniences to the charming village of Naples. We will definitely be back!!

Our first trip away landed my adult daughter and myself in this lovely paradise. The rooms are comfortable and the balcony includes a hot tub with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. Suzanne and Rudi have created a place of care, respect, and compassion for the humans and the animals who stay there. Cuddle the cows!!. It will make you feel better about everything!!!!
