I'm pretty sure that anyone who doesn't believe in ghosts hasn't yet stayed at The Shanley Hotel. I've been twice now, and while the second time was nice and quiet, my first visit was full of activity, spirits speaking through devices, EMF readings spiking, temperature changes, flashlights turning on and off, etc. Aside from the activity, the hotel very comfortable,...

Could have been a great overnight for my friends and I. The hotel is creepy and clearly full of history. The sad part is that it is run horribly. We were not greeted at the door, we had to wait to be assigned rooms, the investigation started late, the staff was unprofessional. You can't drink or eat in your rooms...

Stayed 3 nights in this so called hotel, the first night 7 ghost investigators got drunk and had a massed brawl, the second night I heard giggling outside my bedroom door and upon investigation just out side on the floor was a freshly laid turd but the perps had fled. I checked out early never to return

We stayed here for a night, a group of us, the experience it's was amazing, the investigators themselves were great host and amazing, however, the owners wife upon check in never even had us down as staying at the hotel, had to call someone to check on our reservations, upon doing so stated out loud that she wasn't in the...

When we pulled up to the Shanley I said "Yup, it's a dump" and you may do the same thing, but don't judge this book by it's cover. The rooms are beautiful and they really go out of their way in terms of amenities. But you're not there for the amenities, you're there for the ghosts, and you won't be...

no private bathrooms? Sorry.. I don't share a bathroom with strangers... No alcohol? No food? $95 per person? 6:00 pm check in? Pretty convinced they stage these supposed manifestations... Along with the help of the supposed professionals.. To gain notoriety...

My team and I have been visiting the Shanley since 2008. The hotel is a beautiful place. Yes, it is haunted as well. So be prepared for an experience. It is a warm and inviting place that you will fall on love with. Best part of the Shanley, is Sal. He will be very missed and the place won't be...

We stayed at the Shanley Hotel during our July road trip of 2016 where we got pictures for our website. Sal had just died a few days earlier, but his son and Sal's fiancee, Teresa are carrying on! While she was out at the store, I waited for a short while for the son to come down in their small...

Back in August of 2015 my fiancé, a friend and I traveled from Pennsylvania to the Shanley hotel for a weekend trip. We have always been interested in haunted places and saw this one. Because it wasn't too far we decided to take a trip. It was by far the best experience we have ever had! Sal and Theresa were...
