We stayed here to explore nearby Letchworth State Park and it was the perfect location to do so. From the time we arrived to the time we left, the hosts were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was among the best B&B breakfasts we have had with numerous delicious dishes. Michele, the owner/innkeeper, gave us a personal tour of the historical aspects of the house - very interesting history! This house was lovingly restored and decorated and retains many unique architectural features of houses built during the period. It was fun talking to the owners over breakfast and they offered tips and ideas on where to explore. Great attention to detail in the bedroom and bathroom and both were very clean (and snacks were provided too!). We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to our friends if they are visiting this area!…

We were looking for a place to stay for one night between visits to the Genesee Historical Village and Letchworth State Park. This was the perfect spot! We walked to town for dinner and the following morning enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by Michelle. Michelle and David are wonderful hosts, and our room and breakfast exceptional! They also provided us with a wealth of information about the area. This is a must for anyone who appreciates historic old homes. The details in this home are amazing!

Michele and Dave provide a top notch experience for their guests. Bed is comfortable, cushy thick towels, snacks and a delicious breakfast . Be sure to take a tour of the house -these hosts are passionate about their restored home. Also-don’t miss Letchworth State Park that’s nearby. It has 3 beautiful waterfalls and great hiking.

What a great place! We spent the night with friends and had an excellent stay. Michele and Dave are such gracious hosts and we loved talking with them about the history and refurbishing of the house. So many details and so much to see all throughout the home. Convenient location that’s close to downtown to walk to dinner and ice cream. Just a short drive to Letchworth State Park.

Absolutely beautiful !!!!!!! This was the perfect last minute getaway. The blue rose was clean, quiet, and cozy. I would not hesitate to stay again. I wish we could have spent more time at the Blue Rose and Letchworth Park.

The Blue Rose Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay when visiting the beautiful Letchworth State Park. I actually can not say enough nice things about it! The hosts/owners, Michele and David Shaughnessy rehabbed this historic house themselves, with so much love and attention to detail. The furnishings are magnificent! The breakfasts are to die for - fresh baked scones, zucchini fritters, fresh fruit, elaborate egg dishes!! Snacks, hot and cold drinks available 24/7. Such thought and energy went into the Inn, EVERYWHERE!! Beautiful sitting rooms and outdoor patios amidst lovely gardens. We stayed in the Plum Garden Room which was very nice, however, I would recommend splurging for the Rose Garden Suite which was AWESOME!!! I also recommend booking directly with the Inn, rather than airbandb to save the $30 fee. .You will love being transported back to Victorian Age, but with modern conveniences!!! Book your stay now!…

David and Michele are the consummate BnB hosts -- gracious, generous and warm. Their home is beautiful, and our room was quite comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious! We were in the area to visit Letchworth State Park. It is conveniently located to the park and walking distance to downtown Mount Morris restaurants. We highly recommend. You'll be well cared for!

My husband and I spent two nights at the Blue Rose during a Finger Lakes hiking trip. Michele and David have taken great care over the past decade to restore this Victorian home to its former glory while providing modern-day amenities (heated towel rack!). The hallway outside our room housed a mini-fridge we used to store our hiking snacks, and Michele made wonderful chocolate brownies for us on our first afternoon. The sheets and 100% Egyptian cotton towels were the softest I've ever felt. Michele really focuses on the details, such as fresh flowers on the table, Victorian-style wallpaper and lace, artfully presented creative breakfasts (e.g., eggs Florentine, a "banana split" fruit dish with yogurt, pumpkin spice baked oatmeal), and even a tiny teapot-shaped serving dish for lemon wedges. The yard was beautifully landscaped - lots of flowers and the hugest beech tree we've ever seen! The house is right in town, within walking distance of the small downtown area of Morris. We chose the B&B for its proximity to Letchworth State Park, and we were glad we did! Michele and David are gracious hosts (they even let us store our ice packs in their freezer) and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this B&B!…
