The Borland House is a gracious 18th Century Greek Revival home with a focus on gourmet food. Our accommodations combine comfort, elegance, warmth and something special for the gourmand. Chef Anna, trained in Southern France, has created a special place with a focus on farm-to-table comfort food even creating a backyard farm and orchard. From just enjoying the full sit down breakfast in the Brunch House Restaurant on the Main Floor of the House, to the options of adding on gourmet 3-5 course dinners or cooking classes, the Borland House has a uniqueness you won't find anywhere else. Choose from among our spacious Hanlon and Montgomery rooms with fireplaces and a sitting area to our cozy Isabella Room or newly renovated Artist Wing Rooms (the only rooms that share a bathroom).

Was a disappointing stay, Isabella room tired and small with spiders webs and cracks in plaster, shower had mould on sealant. Needs maintenance and uplift. Breakfast average. Most expensive accommodation during our two weeks in states. Town very nice and bed comfortable.

Response from Anna F, Owner at The Borland B&B & Brunch House

We very much appreciate your feedback as we take all reviews seriously. The Isabella room is one of our favorites and being built in 1789 in a cottage style is a wonderful room for anyone in love with the historical Hudson Valley. We work very hard to make all our rooms comfortable and clean everyday and to serve the very best food representing the best products of the Hudson Valley. We love our home and will work to make every room as beautiful as possible and always work hard to make sure every guest has the best stay.

My wife and I were very pleased with our brunch experience at The Borland House on a Sunday morning. The food prepared was delicious and the service provided was excellent. The facility itself was quaint and charming.
