I stayed at the surf lodge in July for 3 nights and can't say enough good things. The room had a BREATHTAKING sunset view, nothing like I've seen before. The staff was so nice about parking permits for the beach and gave the real Montauk scoop on where to go and eat. My room had a Marshall AMP for an...

Surf lodge is an all time favorite destination for us, it represents everything that's great about summer. Beautiful sunsets, beautiful people, al fresco dining, live music and most importantly ice cold rosé (Hamptons Gatorade as some call it). Great for all different types of occasions from going out on a Friday night, to Sunday Funday, paddle boarding on the lake,...

My pleasant experiance at The Surf Lodge made my weekend in Montauk much more enjoyable. The room was clean, the staff were great and the atmosphere was pumping! Locations great, although I would suggest a mode of transportation if your wanting to explore Montauk. When we asked for tips as to whats great to do and see, a friendly gentleman...

Old motel given the hipster treatment and it is now a funky surf lodge. Rooms lovely (although mine had a view of a tree and no water view as promised). A fun place let down by genuinely shocking staff. Rarely have a stayed in a place where the staff were so lapsed. Breakfast was a comedic lesson in how not...

From the minute we arrived we knew we were in great hands. The staff are amazing and everything you want from a hotel so aptly named. The food is fantastic and the views from dinner with the sunset are unbeatable. Rooms very upbeat and clean. The record player and records work.... Thanks for a great ride.

We had dinner in one Saturday night in mid August. Live music, excelent food and nice service. Cool crowd as well. The place looks very chic and has a good vibe. Nice loctaion by the lake and close to the beach. One of the most enjoyable evenings in East Hamptons. We did not stay at the hotel itself, so we...

We stayed at the Surf Lodge for two nights in July, me and my dad. The staff is very friendly yet very professional. Great location on a small lake, paddle boards are available at no charge. The beach is 5 five minutes in any direction via car and the hotel provides a free parking pass. The room was very comfortable,...

If you don't want to party there on the weekend (we were there with our kids) but prefer a more quiet scene it's a great spot for lunch in the week. The food is not amazing but good and the terrace is a great place for lunch. The salad and the lobster roll were there high lights. The decor is...

I went to the bar/restaurant area on two occasion, a sunday night, were there was a concert, the place was packed with peoples in their 20-30's from the city so not good for kids. I went back on a wednesday night were it was way more chilled, less packed, and a very different crowds, which was retired locals, parents with...

DF shows are good no matter the location (or weather)...but we felt extra lucky to experience this summer's show at The Surf Lodge. This place is low key and special. We were newbies to Montauk, but it didn't matter because Marco made us feel at home. We will be back.
