We had to book the night before due to a family funeral. Check in was easy, when the desk attendant heard why we were staying there, he gave us a small bag of comfort goodies, nice touch. Perhaps the bed was a little to soft for our liking, the pillows were terrible, the A/C more than adequate and the bathroom was roomy with a good shower and water pressure, more than enough closet and drawer space. Small flatscreen TV with netflix. Samll workout room with 2 treadmills (one was out of order) and a bike, some weights.Overall clean. Wifi and free breakfast included.

Stopped at the Fairfield Marriott overnight on our way to the Hamptons. Having never stayed at a Fairfield before, we were very pleasantly surprised. Clean,new hotel. And literally the friendliness staff we have ever encountered. From the lovely girl checking us in Saturday morning ( four hours before ahead of check in time) to the Housekeeping staff, to the person serving breakfast ( delicious and free, I may add) to literally ever person we encountered, they were amazing. They even remembered our names, arriving back from dinner. Cute town a few minutes away, with lots of options for dinner and drinks. This hotel is truly a hidden gem. Located half way between Manhattan and East Hampton. We will spread the word and most definitely stop here again. Always love a Marriott. Thank you! Vic

Stayed here for the weekend. First of all, it’s quiet and mostly comfortable. The breakfast is typical for this type of place and the cookies late afternoon are a nice touch. However...when we arrived, sat on the side of the bed (rm 319), I sunk in and slid off the bed. This was only one side of the bed, so there is obviously a defect. I asked for a different bed, but they’re sold out, and I got stuck with it. They offered me 500 points, but that doesn’t begin to compensate for a crummy bed. Then, they claim being environmentally conscious, but they replaced our barely used soaps and shampoos after one night, and they took our once used towels. Nope...thus is not environmentally conscious. This is wasteful. Some day, trip advisor will provide a rating fir this, but for now, all I can do is work with the star options they provide.

I stay at the Fairfield Inn in Medford every time I find myself on Long Island. It is clean, comfortable, and the staff goes above and beyond to be accommodating. As a person who travels frequently for business, it is beyond important to have spots like this one where I know exactly what I am getting and know that I can trust that I will have a comfortable stay. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast is excellent. I have stayed at other properties where the breakfast was so lackluster. Wonderful staff as well!
