The hotel was beautiful, very pretty, very clean, nice little breakfast. This place was cozy, my boyfriend and I took our baby to go eat at Bellini’s inside the hotel and food was tasty, our server was so sweet and accommodating. I recommend staying here, we will definitely stay here again because it is just a comfortable atmosphere. Our view of Chautauqua Lake was beautiful too.

Easy access to snowmobile trails right from hotel. Plenty of trailer parking. Rooms plenty of room, we had the bath and half room, with separate sitting area. Breakfast is included - it is a real breakfast, eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, etc. Great breakfast. They have a special rate each night for snowmobilers. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Chautauqua Suites this past weekend for a visit to wine country. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great. When I read the description it said a "continental" breakfast but you definitely get more than just some pastries. There are hot options that include scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Lake Erie wine trail.

Friendly place, the staff was very nice.

The room was very oddly shaped, narrow, and small.

The shower had very low pressure. I was searching for a coin slot that would start the real shower. The Holiday Inn Express had much better water pressure.

Imagine booking more than 40 rooms in a hotel and discovering there was no one to talk to if you had a problem!

How often could a room be cleaned with all the new covid protocols if the toilet is covered in mold? Would you not think some type refund is in order?

Imagine paying for your rooms and discovering another guest at your event was charged $700 or $800 extra on their debit card in error for the rooms you already paid for! The only response of the hotel is the money will be back in a few days.

Imagine no housekeeping for 3 days
in the most expensive bridal suite in the property!

Mold, filthy carpets, no towels, no toilet paper and no garbage removal for 3 days!

Prices quoted changed!

Rooms reserved given away in error!

All this and management refuses to return a call to you about the problem and the
terrible attitude of their on-site manager.

Be smart go to the beautiful property on the other side of the lake!

This hotel gets a 4 star rating and not 5 only because the breakfast, tough plentiful is not in keeping with health and wellbeing. Eggs, Cheggs, Sausage, Bacon, hash with corned beef, white bread, aunt Jemima table syrup ... is well on the path to diabetes and heart disease.
A new menu with healthier and vegan options and you've got a 5 star raitng.
The hotel is clean, the staff is great especially Jan and the evening shuttle dude. The coffee/ tea station is great. The lobby is lovely.
The presence of a microwave made it so we couple heat our food that we brought with us from home, across the border in a cooler because there were no restaurants with vegan food, Unless you count a bean burger that some had at the Chautauqua Institute.

The staff was friendly, breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the room amenitie made it comfortable (including the bed) The shuttle made it easy going to and from the institute venues. We also enjoyed the quiet and the tea, etc. Available any time in the lobby along with restaurants at the hotel with delicious corn chowder!!! The price was resonable and we would stay again.

The wedding venue is nice, the food good, and service very good. The rooms are comfortable with a half bath. It is a different room layout. A view of the lake barely from a side room. We would stay here again. The breakfast buffet at Olives was delicious!

We visit the Wine Trail twice a year and have always stayed here. Our visit this time was good. The room was clean and comfortable. Television had a nice selection of channels and there was free wi-fi. The only downside of our visit was the continental breakfast. It makes no sense that this is a conference center and the breakfast is so poor. Small boxes of cereal, bagels, orange juice and coffee should really be beefed up with hot items similar to other hotels. Waffles, eggs, and bacon would be a nice addition. But perhaps they have not gone this way because the owners of the Chatauqua suites also own The County Grill in Mayville. The front desk recommended it and said it had the same owners.

We've stayed in this hotel in the past and decided to stay again based on the cleanliness and location. While still pleased with the room and the hotel...our issue was at check in and with the front desk individual. I travel a bit for work and understand the check-in, check-out time policies. We arrived at approx 1:15pm and was hopeful to get into our room - check-in is 3:00pm. The staff's comment was abrupt and rude and told me to come back at 3:00 when it was check in time. There was no offer to try and get the room ready for us...nothing. Pretty disappointed with the customer experience...hopefully, this was a one-off for them!!!
