We were there for 4 days (Fri-Mon) & were very happy with hotel. Only issues were very minor (no floor layout to tell us where ice machines were, no listing of restaurant menu, no references on where to go or what to see in the area) Very unusual for a tourist area, but minor issues. Called downstairs & were told where we could find ice machines-2nd floor only. Check in was smooth. All rooms face the lake. Make sure you close the blinds unless you really do like sunrise in your eyes that early. Housekeeping was there everyday. Room was clean. Refrig was small but we didn't need anything bigger. Mon breakfast was continental. We were told full breakfast was Wed-Sun. Good variety. Rate was ery reasonable-een rate quoted for in season was reasonable. Drawback no pool on premises. Use of pool locally but we didn't want to drive there. Overall we would stay there again.…
Had reservations for 1pm.... Easter buffet ended at 2pm.... We walked out at 1:50 after waiting in a huge line and nobody was even checking people in...others walked out with us. Why take reservations if you're going to overbook so badly that you lose customers....
Easy access to snowmobile trails right from hotel. Plenty of trailer parking. Rooms plenty of room, we had the bath and half room, with separate sitting area. Breakfast is included - it is a real breakfast, eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, etc. Great breakfast. They have a special rate each night for snowmobilers. We would definitely stay here again.
Imagine booking more than 40 rooms in a hotel and discovering there was no one to talk to if you had a problem! How often could a room be cleaned with all the new covid protocols if the toilet is covered in mold? Would you not think some type refund is in order? Imagine paying for your rooms and discovering another guest at your event was charged $700 or $800 extra on their debit card in error for the rooms you already paid for! The only response of the hotel is the money will be back in a few days. Imagine no housekeeping for 3 days in the most expensive bridal suite in the property! Mold, filthy carpets, no towels, no toilet paper and no garbage removal for 3 days! Prices quoted changed! Rooms reserved given away in error! All this and management refuses to return a call to you about the problem and the terrible attitude of their on-site manager. Be smart go to the beautiful property on the other side of the lake!…
The hotel was beautiful, very pretty, very clean, nice little breakfast. This place was cozy, my boyfriend and I took our baby to go eat at Bellini’s inside the hotel and food was tasty, our server was so sweet and accommodating. I recommend staying here, we will definitely stay here again because it is just a comfortable atmosphere. Our view of Chautauqua Lake was beautiful too.
I stayed at the Chautauqua Suites this past weekend for a visit to wine country. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great. When I read the description it said a "continental" breakfast but you definitely get more than just some pastries. There are hot options that include scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Lake Erie wine trail.
Friendly place, the staff was very nice. The room was very oddly shaped, narrow, and small. The shower had very low pressure. I was searching for a coin slot that would start the real shower. The Holiday Inn Express had much better water pressure.
We stayed here for a weekend while in the area for a wedding. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The suite was very spacious with plenty of room to stretch out. Central to everything in the area.
We stayed two nights - 9/25 & 9/26. Room was VERY clean with a queen bed. Everything was working and in good repair. Room appears to have been recently painted. It had a half bath and also a full bath with shower. Shower was very nice. Good towels. Firm mattress. Breakfast was adequate. It was billed as a continental breakfast. It had instant oatmeal, cold cereals (including a whole grain cereal), sweet rolls, bread and bagels, juice, milk including skim milk, coffee, apples & oranges. The front room had a couch, TV, two close closets, and a small refrigerator. The bedroom had another TV, dresser and end tables. 3 wastebaskets in the room! I would suggest that the hotel add charging outlets for electronics and install lights above the bathroom mirrors. Hallway temperature should be better regulated -some too cold and some too warm.…
Our family (4) stayed here from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. The desk clerks for the entire stay (except for the man on Saturday night) were unfriendly and did not look up or speak to you unless you were in front of them asking a question. No smiles or welcoming comments. The room was weird compared to other suites. Poor lighting with black closets made it difficult to see items. There was no where to sit and relax, one chair at a desk that was inches from the bed. Our elderly parents had no where to sit except on the bed until we gave them the desk chair and housekeeping found us another chair that was wedged in by the window and bed. I spent three hours in the lobby from 5:30 am to 8:30 as I could not sleep and there is nowhere in the room to sit comfortably. I watched as several guests left with no one speaking to them except when they checked out. None were told that there was a hot buffet breakfast at 7 but I told a few people. No one spoke to me after the man on nights left and the staff who came in for the day shift did not speak either. Guests who were leaving did address me sitting on the couch for 3 hours. The buffet breakfast was good but when my sister asked at 9:30 if there would be more eggs and bacon brought out, the unfriendly woman said "no, just more sausage". The one positive is that my laptop computer was left (possibly due to poor lighting) and was turned in by staff. However, when I called that evening after arriving home was told that all I could do was leave a message for housekeeping, which I did asking to be called first thing in the morning. I did not receive a call but instead called there at 9 am and was told it had been turned in by staff. Kudos to Jill at the desk on Monday am for being very cordial on the phone and to Jess T. in housekeeping for restoring my faith in honesty and integrity by turning in my laptop. I do not recommend these suites for 4 people but possibly for just 2 so there is somewhere to relax in the room. Other than the housekeeping staff, we did not feel welcome there.…
