Everything about our stay was lovely. Cozy room, with beautifully updated bathroom. Perfect location, close to many wineries, and the Shinn Estate hospitality was superb. Wine tasting included and the outdoor covered patio overlooking the vineyard was a perfect spot. We can’t wait to visit again!

We needed to get out of the yard, wanted something interesting within driving distance of Jersey Shore! We are both wine lovers and have been to plenty of wine regions US and internationally, but never ventured out to the North Fork. We were blown away by Shinn Estate Farmhouse & Vineyard. This small (4 room b&b) is so tastefully done and impeccably clean. The staff were helpful, everyone wore masks except when tasting and there was plenty of room to spread out. Plus there is a great private patio for b&b guests adjacent to tasting area. We did go mid-week, only because we couldn't get a weekend - this place books up fast and for good reason! On top of all this the wine was great - really enjoyed Shinn's Sauvignon Blanc and Estate Merlot!! Plenty of other wineries in area to visit. We also took a beautiful day trip to Sag Harbor via drive on ferry. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Took my wife, daughter and son-in-law to a wonderful weekend retreat at Shinn Estate Vineyards. We stayed in the Treehouse room which was very clean and comfortable (memory foam mattress) while the other two were in the Vineyard West room (which they also thought very highly of). The staff was very friendly (John was always busy, but smiling), the breakfast cooked up by Tess was great, and the Rose Hill rose’ was chilled and on tap when the tasting room was open during the day. We saw some of the older reviews under the previous owners, but this staff is a complete turnaround. We are definitely coming back.

My husband and I were blown away- the service was impeccable to say the least from the moment we arrived to check-in until we checked out. The accommodations were flawless, the breakfast was delicious and the ambiance was very romantic. We stayed in the Treehouse room and the bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. The owner Randy even came over to our table to chat with us while we enjoyed the wine tasting that was included with our reservation. John was our waiter and gave every attention to detail. The wine is delicious! Although the tasting room and vineyards are open to the public, they treat their guest above and beyond. The front and side porches of the Inn are exclusively reserved for the guest to enjoy. The vineyards are breathtaking. Cannot wait to return soon!

One of my best friends and I were supposed to spend Labor Day Weekend in the Bahama's, but having to cancel due to COVID, we went to plan B - Shinn Estate. Well, it was by no means a step down from our original plans. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Molly greeted us, went over what we should expect during our stay, gave us a tour of the grounds, and after 3 minutes of knowing her, I felt like she was our friend. (not to mention, my friend had a sprained foot so she carried her bags to our room for her). Molly - you are in the right profession, and Shinn Estate is lucky to have you. All of the other staff was phenomenal as well, the winery staff, the inn keeper, the woman who tidies up the place, even the owner who intro cued himself to us during our complimentary wine tasking and cheese board! They all made us feel so welcome. We only stayed for one night, and it was worth every penny. There is a wrap around porch where you can eat breakfast (various options to choose from) or bring a book and enjoy the view from the porch swing. There are a couple of different areas where only hotel guests can stay, and with there only being 4 rooms, you have plenty of different areas to lay back and relax away from the bustle of the winery scene - which is still very much under control, and never gets too crowded like some other places. Overall our stay was a 10/10 and we cannot wait to return again within the upcoming months for another mini getaway. Great location, excellent service, immaculate grounds and rooms. P.S. - It is a B&B, so the walls are THIN, if you know what I mean.. So if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing ear plugs, or maybe in each bathroom, Shinn can add some in the "In case you forgot" bucket (which is fully stocked for all essentials!).
