This was our second stay at the Adobe Village Inn, this time we were in the Wilderness Villa. We stayed here again because last time it was a perfect location for us - it's at the north end of the Village of Oak Creek just off of SR 179 making all of the nearby shops and restaurants walkable. Directly north of the property is access to the "Slim Shady Trail" which connects to miles of trails around Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Courthouse Butte. Heading out for a hike without having to fight Red Rock Pass parking and being able to return to the suite and jump directly into the shower is a huge plus!

Both Villas that we've stayed in were two huge rooms (one is the living/sleeping area, the other is the bathroom). Both rooms had large tubs, gas fireplaces, and a giant walk-in shower. The TV is small but we're not in beautiful red rock country to watch TV, we enjoyed the outdoors until it got cold and dark and then cozied up by the fireplace. The Internet was a little slow but it was a great opportunity to put our phones away and disconnect. Nirvana!

The pandemic contactless check-in was flawless. We never saw anybody during our whole stay which was fine by us!

Adobe Village exceeded all expectations. My wife and I stayed in the Purple Lizard room from 1/30-2/2 and it was outstanding. The check-in process was super smooth and both Samantha and Teresa provided outstanding service all weekend. The rooms were spotless, the bed was super comfortable and the Hot Tub by the fireplace was amazing after long days of Hiking. They also serve a healthy hot breakfast between 8-9am which provides ample energy for a day of activity. We met the owner Ron at breakfast one morning and he was an extremely gracious host. Their location is perfect (Away from the heavy tourist crowd in downtown Sedona) but within walking distance to trails. Excellent food options as well within 2 miles of the property. We absolutely loved this place and it felt like a home away from home for our short visit. We will definately be coming back again.

The Adobe Inn is everything it advertises and the location outside of crowded downtown Sedona was welcoming. The room was very comfortable, functional and included an outside area with two high stools and bar-like platform It was a great place for lunching, reading, writing and viewing Sedona's magical mountains. The Adobe Inn is well run and very accommodating. They look out for their customers with maps of the area, backpacks to borrow, and even putting out ice buckets. Our room was on the second floor and the entry is a half dozen steps down if that’s a problem for guests. It was fine for us.

Such a bizarre experience. We have traveled the world and have stayed everywhere from hostels to 5 star resorts and this was one of the strangest places we’ve stayed! Definitely not a bed and breakfast vibe that one expects. No friendly hosts (just a cleaning man that avoided eye contact even after we tried to to initiate conversation). Check-in is completely on your own, especially if you arrive after dark. They say there’s a flashlight hanging there to assist, and there is, but it’s literally hanging under a keypad that you DON’T use. The keypad you use isn’t located near the flashlight. It felt like a set-up! Lol! We got in fairly late so we tried to be as quiet as possible but we discovered the floors were soooo squeaky and the walls paper thing. Awkward if you want a romantic getaway. The suite wasn’t very clean (hairs in the shower and tub). The towels and bedding need a serious update, old and scratchy. If you have any issues climbing into bed (and I mean climbing) don’t reserve the Sundance room. The bed needs a ladder. It felt like we were a burden and not welcomed in the slightest. I could go on but I’m getting annoyed just thinking about it! Definitely not the romantic Sedona getaway we had envisioned. And they can’t blame it on covid. There were no signs or notes stated distancing or mask-wearing and no one we saw wore a mask...come to think of it maybe it’s good we never meet the hosts or talked to a single soul while there! Such a bummer since the location has such promise.

This property used to be quite a find. Historically was highly rated in some of the travel guides. Now there is no breakfast (used to be a B and B). The outdoor space has been poorly kept. Not only that, but we did not see a single staff person. We were told check-in would be with a personalized envelope. Nothing. Despite being told there was "light housekeeping", we saw no one and no one entered our room. There was one bar of soap for 2 adults/3 nights, as well as minimal towels. We called for directions to use our fireplace and were told we would get a return call in 5 minutes. That never happened. The room was nice to look at and was clean enough, but for the money there appears to be plenty of other properties in the Sedona/Oak Creek area that may provide better value.

Booked the Sedona Suite for my first visit to Sedona. I traveled with my mom and the suite had a Murphy Bed in the living room that gave each of us our "space". The suite had beautiful decor and had all the amenities we needed for our stay.

We did bring our own firewood, so we were able to enjoy the living room fireplace each night of our stay. In addition, there is another gas fireplace near the huge jacuzzi tub that was used to create a very relaxing bath experience. The shower has a steam function that was great for energizing me each morning.

The outdoor courtyard has an outdoor jacuzzi and firepit that we didn't use, but it was available.

Very relaxing and peaceful place to stay, and I would highly recommend it!

So funny that the first review I see now says this is an AirBnB, masquerading as an Inn because that is what we were saying from the moment we arrived.
Our room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The location was excellent. If you like being in a secluded place with nobody around to interact or guide you to make your adventure more enjoyable or answer basic questions, this is the perfect place to be.

In 2 1/2 days we never saw an employee on the grounds (although we think we caught a glimpse of a maintenance man quickly leaving the back patio area as we were coming in there. We were emailed instructions on how to open the door and find our room key. But no worries, if you missed the instructions, they were printed right there on the front door for all to see (so much for safety). The rooms were locked by a small, turn lock you would use on a door handle (again super easy to break into). Although the doors did have a deadbolt, we didn't have the key to it to lock it. My biggest concern, there was no one around to question if non-guest people should really be there or not. The place was deserted during the day. My husband was concerned to leave our belongings in the room.

The note on the door said someone is usually on the premise 9 - 5pm but yet we never saw anyone. We traveled very early and had a long day so we wanted to stay in and rest before a big day the next day. Our tv wasn't working (maybe something we were doing wrong) but unfortunately there was no answer at the daytime number and no one around to ask a question. Even though I called again the next morning at 10:30 am, to say, did you get our message, Ron said no but sounded very annoyed that I was calling and his first response was "well I can't come there now". My response was, I'm not asking you to come now, anytime during the day will work for us.

Maybe it is me, but it usually takes me a day to get my bearings and figure out what is around. I rely on staff to offer suggestions, such as where is a good place to grab a burger after traveling 8 hours without eating, where can I get coffee in the morning, etc. There was a coffee machine in the room but the creamers weren't refrigerated?

We intentionally did not rent an AirBnB but yet this is truly what it is with shared housing.

I called the the owner the first night of my stay on the emergency line (which is only listed on the front door) to let him know there was no hot or even luke warm water in our room. I really wanted to use the jetted tub that I paid to enjoy. He was very annoyed that I called. He came over to the Inn grumpily and did something to the one and only water heater for the entire building. My husband and I waited a couple hours and still got no warm water. The next morning with woke to only cold water. We gave this old building the benefit of the doubt and assumed the only other guest here used all the hot water. Nope! After a couple more hours we still had no warm water. I called the emergency line again and left a message. Although this place is beautiful and seems wonderful at first, the lack of hot water makes it useless to us. If only the owner had been somewhat apologetic and sympathetic, we could have some undertaanding. We won't be returning and will be persuing a refund. It is ridiculous to keep the heat level low to save money at the expense of your guests.

This location is 5 Miles south of Sedona with easy access to all Sedona destinations. We liked being outside of busy Sedona, which allowed us to wind down at night. Accommodations are nice, with use of small outdoor spa and fire pit. Several close breakfast restaurants nearby along with a burger Restaurant operated by owner of Miraposa. Nice stay/ nice management!

I stumbled upon Adobe Village Inn when I was looking for a room, based on the reviews I booked one night. It was exactly as pictured on their website and more. We were in the Sedona Suite, which was so charming, clean and comfortable. The fireplace (s), the furniture, the bedding, the patio and the little extra touches throughout the room made for a wonderful stay. The inn is located in Oak Creek Village with a view of Bell Rock...minimal traffic at all times. We felt the contactless check-in and check-out was easy based on thorough email from the hotel before we arrived. We loved our stay at Adobe Village Inn, and highly recommend if you are looking for a unique hotel in Sedona.
