This place is awesome! Our family of five truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the views, the pool, the trails accessible on site, and the s’mores/fires in the evening. Top notch place! I highly recommend!

After researching many Sedona hotels on Trip Advisor, we chose Red Agave and were pleased with our choice. Red Agave is located right next to a hiking area that is beautiful.
Red Agave is not a typical “resort” as the rooms are either chalets or smaller studios and there is no food or spa on the property, but the chalets are very nice and the views of the mountains make it worth staying there. The chalets have a second floor with two beds.
I did not know much about Sedona before staying at the Red Agave, so I learned that there are different parts of “Sedona” that are about 30 or more minutes apart depending on traffic. Red Agave is near the entrance to Sedona when coming from Phoenix. Most of the Sedona restaurants are not in that area, but we had takeout from Pago’s and it was good food.
We paid more for the chalet and it was worth it because of the additional room. The views are great from all the rooms.
We would definitely stay at Red Agave again.

We had a great Memorial weekend stay in one of the Chalets. The location is fantastic, with stunning views and excellent hiking trails accessible directly from the property. Chalet was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Trish, the manager, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. She really helped make our stay special. We especially liked not having to deal with Sedona crowds and traffic over the holiday weekend. Good shopping at Clark's market, about a five minute drive away. Will absolutely return.

I have never been so upset with a resort. I had a reservation for June 28-30 and my credit card was charged about a week before the trip. I contacted Red Agave and asked if I could change the dates of my stay due to covid. They confirmed with me that I could change the dates and that I would receive a refund through booking.com. I reminded them that per THEIR terms with booking.com that a cancellation request would have to be approved by the property. I sent 2 of said requests and both were ignored. In the meantime I had booked a new reservation with Red Agave for August. Again I contacted the property and asked if the amount charged was going to be transferred to the new reservation or would it be refunded. A transfer would have been just fine since the two amounts were the same. Again the property tells me that I will receive a refund through booking.com which of course did not happen because Red Agave did not follow through on their end. The last time I asked if the amount would just be transferred to the new reservation I was told that management would be notified and have not received any further contact from the property. I'm now out $439.82 because of the business lied to me and have no recourse. I hope this business is enjoying $439.82 of my hard earned money for free.

Hi, I'd love to discuss this further with you. I'd never ever want to take someone's hard earned money. This sounds like miscommunication with you, booking and I and if you give me a call I'd be happy to fix the issue. -Trish 928-284-9327

So let’s do the positives first. The hotel is really charming, has a great view of the red rocks outside your window, and the two story chalets are really cool (and it’s clear the owners have put some money into them, with granite countertops and tile backsplashes in the kitchen, and the bathrooms have also received some attention...the furniture is also quite comfy).
I didn’t go to Sedona to work, but in my weekend away, I needed to take care of one thing for my job and needed WiFi to do it. This hotel’s WiFi is awful. Cell service is kind of spotty in Sedona, and so I was hoping that they’d just be able to offer an average WiFi service, and when I was able to connect, it wouldn’t actually connect to websites and booted me off after a minute or so. So if you need the internet during your stay, don’t stay here. Otherwise, if you just need to unplug, this is a great place to stay!

Clean and comfortable bungalow. If your looking for luxury accommodations, keep looking. This is reminiscent of the 60's yet well cared for. Located 15 minutes south of Sedona's main area, there is a full kitchen, sitting area and two bedrooms. The amenities is the story here. Absolutely gorgeous views, heated pool and hot tubs, firepit, grills, and canyon trails at the edge of property. Price is good for the area. Red Agave Resort books up so get it while you can.

I'm am so glad my dog and I stayed here. The rooms are extremely spacious. We stayed in a studio. There is a kitchenette with a bar and chairs. The kitchenette has a stovetop, sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and kitchen supplies (pots, pans, utensils, etc.). The room was quite warm that I didn't need to use the heater.
They also give you extra sheets to put on the bed so that your dog doesn't get the comforter dirty. There are also hiking trails out the front door and you have an amazing view from your room. If you have a pup, I would bring a headlamp so you have some light when you potty your dog at night.
I definitely would stay here again.

We stayed in one of the little, charming chalet..worked very well for us. It’s a two story little house with all the necessary convenience, including a coffee machine, a refrigerator, a microwave ..
We had two beds upstairs and one downstairs in a separate bedroom. The problem with this place is that the mattresses are too old and overused, they became misshaped and you sleep in the “indentation” of it. The same situation is with the sheets, too old and overused ..
Other then that, great place with the magnificent sunset view!

The Red Agave Resort was the perfect home base for our family to explore the area. The room was perfect for our family of four. My boys (6/8) navigated the stairs to the loft and enjoyed sleeping on their own while my husband and I were downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped and we made breakfast each day and dinner one night.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, they lit the fire at night and had s’mores supplies ready for us.
When the afternoon heat made it hard to be outside my boys played in the pool and my husband and I were able to relax with beautiful red rock views.
This place is a great value for families!

+1
I loved this place. You cannot beat the location (can hike and bike right from the property and walk into town for food and bike rentals). The views are outstanding. Mountains and desert! Amenities include a fire pit with smores every night, private kitchen with everything you need, propane grills for BBQing, heated pool and hot tubs for after hiking/biking, standalone chalets for privacy, lots of outdoor seating and activities (corn hole) so that you can enjoy the scenery, and ample parking. The staff is very accommodating.
Chalets are small but clean. The view from the lofts are a 10. The spiral staircase is a head bonker, so watch out. The living area could use one more comfy chair so that a family of four has enough seating.
Overall, I'd call this place a perfect March getaway. Will be back!

Hi KelflyOh,
There is a $60 pet fee, no size/weight restrictions.
As far in advance as you can! We have a lot of bookings this year and are getting booked for next year, that may be why there isn't availability.
Hope this helps! Feel free to call anytime! 928.284.9327

All outside areas are "smoker friendly"!
Hi, sorry it was busy. Yes the upstairs has curtains over the small windows, however they don't have curtains on the big windows above the front big sliders. It does stays pretty dark up there tho.
Yes, those items are supplied. There was enough place settings for 4 people in the chalet, so I assume there is at least enough for 2 people in the studios, along with dish and hand soap, paper towels, garbage bags. There is soap and shampoo in the shower, tp is supplied.
Good morning! Our rates are $179.00 for a studio and $279.00 for a chalet. Our weekends are filling up with spring break so please let me know what dates you would like me to look into for you. Thank you-Trish
