This former B&B is now run by Absolute Luxury Management. From outdoor lighting so poor you cannot find your room, burned out lights in the room, tired carpet, no ability to control the temperature in the room, and microfiber linens on the bed - there isn’t anything luxurious about it. It is by far the least desirable place I have stayed on this 10 day trip to Arizona and Utah. Even the places that were half the cost had crisp cotton sheets and cable tv that allowed for viewing live sports and programming. Not here. And the internet is so slow we could not stream from our own devices. Really disappointing. I will say it seems pretty clean, but very worn. I would not return again.

My husband and I stayed a couple of nights here in October as part of a southwest road trip. The place is in Oak Creek Village rather than Sedona proper which I appreciated once we drive into Sedona and I saw how congested that place is! I found check-in procedures confusing. I got several e-mails about a code to unlock the door but the Casita actually has a physical key. There is no onsite management. There is a phone number you can call or text for 'front desk" type things. I will say the people at that number were always very responsive and things got cleared up quickly. We found the key and got into the room. The Casita is a lovely room. I highly recommend it for couples! I really enjoyed the breakfast too!

Adobe Hacienda is nestled inconspicuously within the foothills of the village of Oak Creek. Its sprawling and earthen design blends with the surrounding desert: a traditional Spanish-style la posada situated between a manicured golf-course and a cozy neighborhood. Many of its spacious suites face the green acreage of the golf-course: window walls that allow one to wake to alpenglow across the stately red rocks and vast skies. It’s the ideal place to take a step back: to relax and reshuffle one’s priorities alike to the evening sky portraying the changing light and seasons. There is an idyllic lull to this place: within a gentle desert breeze, the chirping melody of birds, and the gurgle of the water feature out front. The Hacienda represents everything it claims to be: a familiar getaway, a relaxing respite, an authentic experience and certainly a hidden gem. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating, really as embracing as the property itself was. Whether one is looking for tranquility or adventure, here the two embrace within the Hacienda’s colorful Saltillo features, rustic reminiscences, and homely atmosphere. My friend and I stayed in the Baja room and it couldn’t have been better! Thank you Adobe Hacienda Team!

My wife and I stayed at the Adobe Hacendia for 12 days at the end of January. And we have nothing but praise for the staff and the facilities. The location is the best in the Sedona area. Located six miles from Sedona in Oak Creek, we came back to our room each night away from the hustle and bustle of Sedona. We enjoyed the ride back and forth each day due to the views of the red rocks and mountains that surround the drive between Oak Creek and Sedona. I researched a lot of hotels, motels and Airbnb's prior to selecting the Adobe Hacienda. What I was finding after reading the small print with the majority of places to stay in the area is different add-on fees such as daily parking fees, wifi fees, high pet fees and resort fees. At the Adobe Hacendia, everything is included at a great price. The rooms are very clean, you have full access to the kitchen, laundry room and the different amenities that this B&B offers. How important is having free access to the laundry room when you are staying for an extended period of time. Next time, my wife and I will not have to pack as much. The staff was excellent. They communicated with us as needed and were quick with their replies. We will definitely stay at the Adobe Hacendia next time we come to Sedona. Thanks to the entire Adobe Hacendia team for a great place to stay during our first visit to Sedona.

This place used to be great before it got taken over by a corporation that took all the romance and charm out of it! The rooms are nice, but - 1. The mattress was old and crooked so one end was going downhill. 2. The pics show a fireplace in the room. Nice right? However, when you get there, the fireplace is turned off and there are signs saying "For decoration only - DO NOT try to use!" Wow! 3. No human interaction - everything is email. If you need the office, they say they "should" call you back within the hour. 4. They say it is a B&B - but what they don't tell you until after you pay, is that if you want breakfast, you need a reservation (fine) and it's $35 a person extra. 5. Early check-in? Nope! Can't check in until 4 pm 6. Late checkout? $100 an hour! 7. Instead of meeting the owner and his wife like it used to be, now all you get is a bunch of emails with things you BETTER NOT DO or we will fine you! 8. No thermostats in the rooms. There is a letter saying, "if you are too hot, open a window or turn on the fan" - I am not kidding! And if you are too cold, there is a crappy little space heater in the room. This place used to be great - now, it is a joke and I would not stay there again!!! Thank god we only planned on staying one night anyways.

Just arrived in Phoenix with my wife and 2 children for a night here, and then we were heading to Adobe Hacienda which we booked several weeks ago. Just received a call saying “we overbooked and we have no room for you now”. A very special thank you for telling us after we flew in and everything else is booked. Very nice feeling on a family vacation to now scramble for a place to stay and pay last minute rates...classy! Danny

The rooms are large and airy, the bathrooms are really nice. The breakfast was good. We have two suggestions for the property. First, instructions on how to use the TV. I may be 65, but I have been using devises and the internet since its creation, and I had a hard time figuring out how the TV worked. Second, do away with the Keurig coffee at breakfast and brew real coffee. They have the machine, just did not use it. Even with those small glitches, we will be back the next time we are in the Sedona region.

We traveled here Feb 2021, 2 adults and an almost 3 year old. We stayed in the dream catcher suite. First there are not kitchenettes in the room there is a central dining area. No microwave not even a coffee maker a maybe 18” fridge. Second you cannot control the temperature in the room. There is a central thermostat for all the rooms & the fireplace in the dream catcher suite would not stay lit. Not the experience you want with a 3 year old & freezing temperatures outside. The food was delicious, everyone has been polite & welcoming, but we will not be back

Hello, thank you for your review. We hate that our detailed description wasn't clear enough to share that the kitchen for the B&B was shared in a common area. We will try to make that even more clear moving forward. Secondly, had we heard about the discomfort of the air settings we would have been able to adjust them for you and offer more blankets. We are glad that you enjoyed our breakfast made fresh daily and wish you would give us a second chance- perhaps in the Innkeepers suite which is our 3BD/2BA house on the property.

We stayed at Adobe Hacienda for our honeymoon, end of February 2020. To be honest, it started out kind of disastrous. Unbeknownst to us, Adobe Hacienda had been sold a couple weeks before. The cook apparently left with the former owners. And while they had us on file as having booked, they did not have the specific room we chose noted. So picture this, first night of the honeymoon, been traveling 17 hours, it's HAILING outside, and we go to check into our room and there are other people in it. There wasn't anyone site managing it at that point, so we're calling a 24 hour number. I'm exhausted and ready to cry and they're scrambling to find us another room. Night 1 of our honeymoon. And yet, I'm still giving them 4 stars, and my husband and I dream about returning quite frequently. If not for Covid, we'd probably be spending our anniversary there next week. There were a lot of snafus that came up during our trip. I don't think they can be blamed on the new owners- things just happen when ownership is tranferred. They were in the process of upgrading, renovating, updating, and hiring new staff while we stayed. But we had the opportunity to meet both owners, Leslie and Max, and they were both kind and wonderful and definitely did right by us. No, we didn't get the fresh cooked breakfast every morning, but the place was beautiful and from what I can tell has gotten even better since our stay. The location is convenient. The environment was nice and quiet. Honestly, we can't wait to return someday, and I'd still recommend it to anyone visiting. Thank you Leslie and Max!

The place has a cumbersome and annoying booking and check in process. It had no free cancellation, asked for ID and credit card info for the sake of preventing fraud weeks BEFORE we arrived, sent us numerous reminders for not checking in before 4pm, and reminders for getting out before 10am. The room was spacious, the breakfast was very good, the laundry room had no lighting. Comparing with other places we had stayed, we rated two star for the value of the money.

Hey Hongj, we're not sure why our attempts to prevent fraud on your behalf was annoying. We do not take theft of anyone's property, especially ours, lightly. We care about our guests and their well being! Also, our two reminders (one well in advance and the second just before arrival) were merely to assist you with your arrival info since they both had other valuable information to share. And to share further, our strict cancellation policy is on the TripAdvisor page before booking so that there is no misunderstanding there for our guests. Had we known about the light being out in the laundry space we would have gladly fixed that for you! We hope you get the chance to come back and stay with us again for a chance to really enjoy yourselves!
