This is an older settlement. We rented the cabin. It was a good choice. Glad we went in the spring. No flies and bugs. Saw many deer. There is deer poo so watch your step:). The office attendant was really welcoming and friendly. The cabin is private enough and it was clean. A pilot light on one of the cooktops had gone out which we discovered after investigating so initially there was a strong propane odor. Once that was cleared up all went well. Not a modern decor but it was presentable and clean. A very young family might be ok here but it’s more for a couple and maybe a teen. The surrounding area has enough for you to do and driving to larger towns is less than an hour away if you need more civilization. Be careful driving at night. Deer are always present and there are a couple of tight turns.…

I'm staying in the area for a construction project and would like o say finding the Lake View was a real surprise. The Owners and the Staff have been very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped with everything you'll need for an extended stay. The Views of the lake and the golf course across the street are very comforting after a long day. While the rooms are some what dated they are clean and neat. I look forward to staying here for the next year to year and a half.

Great stay as always - the management are extremely customer centric. The rooms are clean and well maintained . it is my go to place when I do business in the area. I recommend Lake view - spring and summer are beautiful - across from the St. Lawrence river .

From my 1st phone call to book a room my experience was great. Marcy did some moving around with reservations and found me a room for the week. Clean, COVID compliant, easy access, kitchenette and warm. All the needs I have back home. She "fluffed up" the room each day and my final words- GREAT JOB!

2 bed apt was great. Clean and fresh,all amenities provided. Service was excellent. Beautiful sunset location. Gas grills on site, laundry room provided. Clean linen, peaceful location. plenty of parking on a park like setting

Nice rooms and clean. I was warmly welcomed. What a view! I would stay here again. Close to downtown and the river view is awesome. Across the street from a golf course - just in case I had the time. Good walking area also.

We stayed at the Lakeview for a long weekend. It was clean and spacious. The staff was outstanding and the owners were so nice! We watched the sunsets and ships go by and found time to walk along the path along the river. I would highly recommend the Lakeview if you are in the area! I will be returning.

We were delighted with our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable and the location was very quiet. The room had all the amenities, and a full size refrigerator was a great bonus. While we use the stove, it as a good option to have. The owners were very friendly and staff extremely attentive. I would nit hesitate to stay here again.

I got there much later than I had anticipated for my reservation, but the proprietor was still perfectly willing to accommodate me. And great to stay at; a very clean and comfortable room, and a neat and functional kitchenette.
