i stayed at the Preskil for work in January 2017 and this part of the island is not very common for tourist (more the east, north east part), however the hotel has all the amenities for an hotel in Mauritius, pool, restaurants, etc... however the quality was not up to the standard you expect seeing the price. the structure is...

It's true that the resort is old and needs renovation. But nevertheless the location is just magical. Preskil means almost an island and the resort is surrounded by water except the entrance is connected to the mainland. The service including the spa is very good. Staff nice and helpful especially at the bar. The staff at the boat house were...

The Preskil is a medium-sized hotel on a small island. Beautiful gardens with hibiscus bushes, palms and frangipani trees, with two-storey buidlings distributed around it. The beach is long, with lots of umbrellas and sunbeds available. It never felt crowded despite the hotel being fully booked. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The waters were really as stunningly...

My husband and I stayed here for a week for our 10 year anniversary in 2016. What a treat! We were treated like a king and queen and made to feel so very welcome. The fact that the resort is situated on a private peninsula means that it's peaceful, as no-one except Preskil clients are on the beach. The food...

So just spent a week at Preskil Beach Resort. The Hotel was spotless the staff at reception were very helpful. Some of the waiters were lovely and others were not!!!!! Anyone who do's not go all inclusive are buggered as someone worked it out to be nearly £40 for 2 burger and chips +2 small beers. BUT the so called...

The staff are really helpful and friendly specially nikhil in the restaurant who helped us with our baby. The rooms are ok clean, the bars and swimming pool are nice, there could have been more options for food I think, there was no weetabix for breakfast, a shame as our baby usually has it. Overall we enjoyed preskil very much,...

We were a bit worried about some poor reviews having recently stayed at the lovely St Regis o the other end of the Island but can honestly say that we just had the best time. The location is perfect and we stayed in one of the beach lodges which was stunning and providing privacy and peace and quiet when wanted....

Our stay at the Preskil was due to a friends wedding held on the Preskil Beach. Compared to the other hotel we stayed in Grand Baie, this experience was vibey and happy, an overall pleasant stay. The hotel offers a pleasing environment with 2 main pools to enjoy as well as a small wading pool for the kids. A lovely...

My wife and I selected Preskil Beach to get away from the January weather in London for a couple of weeks. Somewhere with great weather, a peaceful beach, and lovely food, to spend our days relaxing in the sun doing nothing much and our evenings enjoying romantic meals. We almost got our wish! Booking six months in advance of our...

We were at Preskil in January 2017. Beautiful place. The beach and the blue shallow water took my breath away. I didn't want to come back home. The staff members are generally indifferent towards you unless you speak French, but that is not just a Preskil thing, it's a Mauritian thing! so don't take it personally. The free activities on...
