You must try the pepperoni chips ($12) while you wait for your meal. We had the Hot Italian Pizza ($19) and the Frankie Pizza ($19). SO GOOD! And service was great! We love the atmosphere and table setup. The restaurant is beautiful and pretty quiet. Loved our server and his knowledge of the menu. Great suggestions.
The hotel is clean and the rooms comfortable, actually bigger than other boutique hotels we've stayed in around NYC. Great shower, cool urban view, lovely staff. I only gave it four stars because a) the smell of weed in the hallways is a bit much, the lighting is not great in either the rooms or throughout the common areas, and we were charged a $76 "resort fee" when this is not even close to providing resort amenities and, due to their personal Covid policty, they were not providing any kind of service at all to the rooms during the stay. I mean, that's AirBnB level gouging, which will make me think twice about using them in the future. I'm only returning to using hotels as my primary mode of stay BECAUSE of the AirBnB gouging, but if the hotels are starting to do it, too, dunno, think I'll stick with airport chain hotels (which, during the same vacation, DID provide room service and didn't charge me extra for "resort" features they don't have).…
Loved this hotel. We were able to find street parking nearby. The view was just incredible! Room was very clean and simple. The front desk staff was friendly and informative offering suggestions for things to do and the best routes to take. It was my daughters birthday and they made her a little card and had it waiting in our room with a huge chocolate chip cookie!! Although we didn’t try to pizza place, it smelled delicious.
I like the boro hotel very much. I have been here many times. But it’s ridiculous to put this sign on if none of the staffs are wearing masks and lots of guests don’t wear mask either. The staff don’t check vaccination record either. I am not sure how much safety steps are putting here to keep everyone safe.
The hotel is in a great location near 2 metro train station. Walking distance to Noguchi @ MomaPs1 museums. The staffs Mary & her colleagues from the front desk, from the restaurant Beebes, Marshall & his colleague in the evening, and Gloria from the breakfast bar were all very helpful & made us feel at home. I would definitely come back again!
