We stayed 3 nights during the COVID spring of 2021. It was quiet for the most part (party on Sunday night but quiet by 11 pm-ish), and comfortable. Beautiful view of downtown Manhattan from our 9th floor balcony although weather prevented us from enjoying the balcony as much as we would have liked. Great restaurant and cafe. I'm holding back because the place seems to need a bit a zhoosh. Everything is a bit dog eared and in need of a refresh. It's also a bit bare bones on amenities and service which did have something to do with COVID, I'm sure, so not judging too harshly there. We got a discount for staying 3 nights which was awesome. The location was great for being close to Manhattan but without the price tag. And, we were near the Noguchi and MOMA PS1 museums. Overall we couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at the Boro for what we needed and wanted. It was a nice change of pace and I expect we'll be back.…
We took four nights in the Boro for a family trip in NYC. As having been there already four years ago while booking I asked for two rooms on the highest floor. They put us on the 9th floor (12 floors are available). The rooms are quiet clean and there is more space than in many other hotels in NYC. Breakfirst is fine. Instead a typical buffet you can choose from some excellent offers (e. g. eggs in various forms, pan cakes or greec yoghurt with fresh fruits and granola). There are only a few minutes to go to a MTA-station and you are in twenty minutes at Times Square.
Always a pleasure to board here. 2nd time staying. Amazing staff and facility. Great city views. Staff very responsive and accommodating. Quiet and clean facility. Great location for parking and food.
Boro is perfect for a night away, locally! The tub is spectacular and the main reason we chose this hotel. Its big enough for 2, and we definitely take advantage of relaxing in it. Already planning our next stay
I went to the hotel honestly base in what they sale online, which is a beautiful view of the city and parking available. I had to look out-for parking in the middle of the snow and when i called the excuse was an address for a Parking Garage. The room view was the street and buildings from my balcony, When i called, cause that wasn’t what was showed to me in the website and the expensive of the room what i paid for, the excuses was; sorry if i would have an other room, i would offer to you. NO i reserved an advance and the promotion was clear. NEVER comeback here.
