Professional and friendly customer service. Convenient location very near subway to Manhattan. Breakfast area is very small and crowded, best to either go early or skip it altogether. Construction drilling noise outside still continues from 7am to 5pm with drilling off and on depending upon the day. If you plan to stay in hotel during these hours, choose another hotel....

Room was great. Service was great. Front desk was awesome and spoke excellent english which was greatly appreciated. Felt bad for front desk when people complained about construction across the street at 7AM. NOT THEIR FAULT. Only reason not 5 stars is that their breakfast was always the same. Give customers something new in the hot tray, not just eggs...

I stayed here for nearly three weeks in September. There is a lot of construction work going on around the hotel with the noise going from 7am to 6pm but unless you really need to sleep in it's not really a problem. It's clean and I felt safe enough walking around at night on my own coming back from the...

The subway system is only minutes away, convenient for Manhattan and JFK airport. There is a lot of construction in the area which gives it an untidy appearance but does not affect the hotel's location. Within walking distance (20 minutes) is the old Astoria Studios (now, Kaufmann) which is well worth a visit (also reached by a couple of stops...

We stayed at the Comfort Inn (Long Island City) during our recent 7-day trip to New York. The hotel is conveniently located near (5 min walking) the Queensboro Plaza subway station. From there you can quickly access anywhere in Manhattan, Queens or Brooklyn. There are also a couple of other subway stations nearby if you need to take different subway...

I stayed at this hotel prior to a business meeting the following morning in Manhattan. My meeting just happened to coincide with a large gathering at the UN, which meant that even low end hotels in Manhattan were either sold out or simply beyond my budget. The Comfort Inn in Long Island City was available and convenient to the subway....

We were a family of 4 with my elderly parents with me and my husband who visited NY in mid August '16 . Staff experience : We had a very pleasant experience from the moment we stepped in for an early check-in around 10 30 Am. The manager offered us to have breakfast in spite of that not being included...

**August 2016 review** Lots of construction going on, but may be different in a year or two. This is an interesting little hotel in NYC. Frankly, it's very small and looks dumpy from the outside. The rooms are tiny, and the wallpaper, carpet and sheets need updating.if those things are important to you, this probably isn't a great choice. If...
