we had read the mixed reviews, and were pleasantly surprised at the location in that it is an uphill walk to the subway at 42nd and Lowery of 4 blocks but the neighbourhood is ok, young men playing football in the street were very polite, normal housing area, it was beautifully sunny and you can see the empire state as...

Thank you for writing your review about the hotel. At The Queensboro Hotel we take any issue with bugs very seriously and I personally guarantee that we do not have any bed bugs in the hotel. We have the best brand protection services in the industry who control this issue at our hotel. I wish you would have let us...

I got a good deal for this hotel and I essentially got what I paid for. Basic stuff but solid - and clean. This said, I think it's worth pointing out a couple of things that annoyed mr and that may make you consider to NOT stay there: - No storage facility for luggage if you arrive before their check-in...

WORST PLACE I STAYED IN A LONGTIME. On arrival the room was clean except for the dirty dotted carpets but that was all that was good about this place. The breakfast in the morning was far to crowded and hotel staff wld walk around eating infront of the guests. I had a very thing white curtain which let in the...

The hotel has been taken over by the Bank which we were not advised at the time of booking, this has caused the hotel to deterioate in both service and most importantly cleanliness. We were unhappy with the room and the hotel manager as well as the rest of the staff were extremely rude and very care free. This hotel...

I found this hotel on Hotwire so I think I got a pretty good deal on it. The room was clean for the most part- could be a little cleaner but there was no sign of bedbugs. The staff were also for the most part very friendly and very helpful. The free breakfast was a great addition to our stay...

Beware of free parking-very limited and tight- no warning on their website! Had to park on street 2 of 3 nights, and discovered parking ticket when we left, (as the only sign on that side was 1/2-way down street ). Complained to manager about lack of notice re: limited parking, but obviously nothing able to be done about ticket. Breakfast...

I have to say that I was hesitant at first with the booking, I've never been to NY city and didn't know what to expect. Well now I do. The hotel staff was excellent, attentive and informative. The hotel was clean as was our room. Other reviews said the parking was insufficient but I always had a sopt when I...

Don't be fooled by the raving reviews of this hotel posted by some. It is what you pay for. Being an ex Holiday Inn Express, the rooms are of acceptable size as are the beds. The place is bit of a hike from the Subway stop (40th St). However, it is a straight shoot from Times Square on the 7...

We stayed in the room with two king size beds. The hotel was great! especially the breakfast buffét every morning. Thumbs up! A big plus was also the people working there! soo nice and helpful. They were renovating the lobby when we came there; painting and stuff. At the end of the trip it looked really nice. Neighbourhood was nice....

The hotel room was good with breakfast included ,clean n tidy with helpful staff. The only drawback for this hotel was that it was a 20 minute taxi ride from Times Square costing $16-18 but a lot of drivers didn't want the fare because they had very little chance of a return fare. To get into NY we walked about...
