My family and I were very impressed with the Hotel and stayed there for the duration of our New York 7 day trip. The staff were helpful from start to finish, especially with local knowledge. The nearest subway was easy to find and took us everywhere we needed to go with the Map which was provided by the Hotel and acted like... Having booked this hotel based on past reviews I was at first quite surprised upon entering the lobby to find myself in the midst of scene from the old movie The Out- of-Towners. One guest told me don’t check in --this place is bad…no hot water, small rooms… An employee was shouting obscenities at a guest and some guests seemed... More

We stayed at the Queensboro Hotel for 6 days . Shared room w/ grandson and it was everything one could need. The continental breakfast was filling and the lady who kept the breakfast food stocked was terrific. The maid service was great very professional. The reception staff was incredible. The hotel is a 4 block walk to the subway. The... More

Stayed there for 4 nights on my trip visit to New York. Hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the Subway station. Not the best area but the price was good. There is nothing special about this place. Room was small. There was a complementary breakfast but dining area was very small, only few tables and it was always crowded.... More

I hated everything about this place - this is definitely one of my top three " NEVER EVER AGAIN" hotels I have ever visited. Completly unproffesional staff, smelly, very small rooms and while staying there for a week i had to sleep on the floor because of the cheapest most uncomfortable beds they provide. The DESTROYED my holidays and my... More

We stayed at the Queensboro Hotel for 10 days over Easter...April 5th to 15th. The rooms were everything we needed. The continental breakfast was terrific as was the friendly smile of the lady who kept the breakfast food stocked. The reception staff was incredible. One man walked my husband to the nearest store to buy stamps. The hotel is a... More

Three us are just back from a week's stay at the Queensboro Hotel. We have no complaints at all. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The location of the hotel is great too - only 10 minutes walk to the nearest subway. We never waited more than a couple of minutes for the... More

Stayed at the Queensboro this week (22/04/12-26/04/12) and we were very, very satisfied. Our room was a nice size with a Queen sized bed, large TV,coffee/tea maker, microwave and fridge. The room was spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. Reception staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The shuttle bus was very handy taking you... More

We stood 6 days in this hotel. It's totally okay for the price. However, breakfast is a nightmare!!! The space in the breakfast area is not sufficient. Many guests had to eat breakfast standing in the room. There was also not enough food. Twice delivery came during breakfast time, so everything was full of boxes. The waitress had to unpack... More
