Very close to Queensboro Plaza subway station. Even in late nights it was safe to walk from the station until the hotel. There is a 24h gas station besides the hotel where you can buy some food/beverages. The room is relatively clean. The staff is not sympathetic but is not rude either. They dont make any effort to help you....

The hotel is very conveniently located by Queensboro Plaza. It is a well run, three star hotel with nice rooms. It's also 1/3 of the price I was finding over the bridge in Manhattan. For a short walk to the subway, the tradeoff was well worth it. The one thing I noted that could be improved was the water pressure...

We've been to New York last october and spent a week in this hotel. I really recommend it: the price is fair, rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff is kind and the bus/tube stop are less than 5 minute walking. Our room was in the back of the building, with a wonderful view on the Empire State Building...

Stayed here for two nights with two teenage children. This hotel represent excellent vaulue for money only $150 NZ dollars for four adults including breakfast. Location excellent only one stop from manhatten and a two minute walk to the subway. Would highly recommend to travellers. Only reservation was the quality of the sofabed for two, seems to be an issue...

Great location, very close to Queensboro plaza subway station. Would of been nice to have a room with a view. If you are travelling by car their is only 6 parking spot in front of the hotel...was lucky to find one on the second day. Great location, good price, would recommend and I will stay there again.

Very good location with easy access to subway, clean rooms, decent breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Very convenient base for exploring New York. However, there was a lot of noise from roaring ice dispenser machine and breakfast area right outside the room (smell of waffles in the morning and people chattering) as well as noise from the elevators (noise from the...

Fabulous view of Manhattan skyline from our bedroom on 8th floor. Lovely rooms. Great 'help yourself' breakfast. Less than five mins walk to metro and then didn't take long to get into Times Square. Limited parking at hotel but public 24 hr carpark almost beside it for about $13 a day. No complaints whatsoever.

This hotel was perfect for us. Free wi-fi, free breakfast (and tasted like it), very close to subway, very close to laundromat. I do wish it had a safe, though. The surrounding area is not attractive (but safe). I read some negative comments about the staff but we didn't experience this. I do agree that the parking is extremely limited...

We stayed in this hotel in June, 2010. The hotel is wonderful, beds were great. This is a nice neat, clean hotel, was very new. BUT, when we booked, for staying 3 nights we were supposed to get a $25 restaurant card (voucher). I did not ask for it because there have been times when these type things were offered...
