I had the bad idea of planning to go to NY during the week-end of the Marathon, but was lucky enough to find this hotel. The room prices were very high for the quality but it was even worse elsewhere. The location is not bad. There is nothing to do around the hotel but the subway station is not far... More

Stayed 3 nights November 1-4 with family on the 7th floor. First impressions - relatively clean, great location (walked across the Queensboro bridge into Manhattan in about 25 min on a sunny, mild morning), free breakfast though poorly managed but OK, free internet, wanted to give the hotel an overall 3,5 or 4 star rating until we saw 3 bed... What a great find this hotel was. Rooms are big, bright & very comfortable. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to the subway & within 10-15 mins you are where you want to be. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is good

I first want to say that I would and probably will stay at the hotel again. Our stay included the first snow fall in October in New York since allegedly the Civil War. This hotel is within two blocks of the Queensboro Plaza for use of the subway system. Hence, there is easy access to Manhattan and also to Brooklyn.... More

After driving by the hotel to have a look at the location, I cancelled my reservation. The hotel might be fine, but the location is ghastly. I grew up in Queens, albeit a much nicer part further east. This is the horrible small time industrial heart of LIC that I remember. You drive through it; you don't stop, you don't... More

I can not recommend this hotel to you. The infrastructure and location is fine, but the staff and management is not very friendly or polite, neither are the rooms very well cleaned. The staff don't know how to greet you, they are only interested in your credit card to charge you. The breakfast and the breakfast area are very poor... More

We went to this hotel in November, 2009. his hotel has a high cost-benefit value, it's located near the subway station in Long Island (Queens) and it's new (approximately 2-3 years). It has a good room (not so large). And only cons is that the neighborhood doesn't have restaurants to have a lunch. But it's worth staying in this hotel... More

The hotel is fairly new and the rooms are okay and a good size, specially if you get one on a high floor. I heard several complaints from people staying in the basement or 1st floor, near the breakfast area. The major problem with this hotel it's the staff, specially at reception. They are very unfriendly, I felt unwelcome as... More

This hotel is in a quiet, seemingly safe area near the Queensboro Bridge that has several medium range newer hotels. It's only 1 block from the subway/trains and the parking is free - but on the on the street. We had to walk 1 .5 blocks with all our luggage. Our car was parked for 2 days with no incidents.... Stayed for 9 nights so really got a feel for the hotel & area. The price was right. A bargain for NYC and short walk to subway made this super convenient. Was nervous at first about the neighborhood but never had a problem even coming back from the subway at 10-11pm. Was happy this was a newer hotel but surprised... More
