We returned to the Fox and Grapes for our annual FLX weekend. Perfect location, comfortable and welcoming accommodations, wonderful breakfasts to start the day. The grounds are lovely and well maintained with a beautiful view from the deck-very relaxing and peaceful. The inn is lovingly maintained and welcoming. Bud and Kim are gracious hosts who want their guests to feel welcomed and appreciated. A nuzzle or two from Guinness is always a treat! This year, due to an injury I sustained prior to our visit, I required some special accommodation that the Wagners graciously obliged. They made me feel welcome and comfortable and were genuinely concerned for my comfort. It was so great to be able to return and enjoy their lovely inn. We look forward to returning next September and enjoying the Fox and Grapes yet again. Thank you Bud, Kim, and Guinness!…
We came with two other couples for several days. First of all, do not discount going to this area in November! It was chilly, we had a little snow...but the ambiance of the house and the fire at night melted the cold away! The wineries were not crowded at all. I have stayed in many B&B's and this one was exceptional. It was extremely clean, nicely decorated, good breakfasts (and very accommodating to our dietary needs), very comfortable bed. We stayed upstairs in the Concord Room, very quiet and private. Kim, Bud and of course Guinness were fabulous hosts!
I loved every minute I was there. From start to finish a perfect experience! From my first call to Kim for registration to check in with Bud. My room, the view, the large open common area, the coffee early AM and a delicious breakfast. Kim and Bud are the best host ever!!! As a seasoned traveler I highly recommended a stay here. When visiting the Finger Lakes stay here at The Fox and Grapes Gus
Wonderful B&B, highly recommend. Extremely clean and very accommodating. Just a lovely setting, warm and cozy right along the main wine trail. The wrap around porch that views the lake is amazing! Breakfast was delicious and plenty. Bud, Kim & Guinness, Thank you for the hospitality! See you next year!
We came up for our 5th anniversary weekend. This place is just wonderful! The inn keepers have such a nice and gentle demeanor. They’re always smiling! The resident dog, Guinness, stole our hearts. Breakfast was amazing both days! They have their coffee from a local roaster and it’s absolutely delicious! We ordered brut and a cheese and fruit plate for our first night and everything was just perfect. We stayed in the balcony room. The balcony is spacious, but doesn’t have a river view. The b&b is located on the east side of Seneca Lake and has some great wineries all around. We would definitely stay again!
