We stayed at this hotel while in Lewiston . The hotel has a good location. The hotel itself and rooms need significant improvement. The room did not have a closet and there were holes in the wall. It was difficult to sleep because of the noise on the floor above our room.
Here for a wedding in Labor Day Weekend. Hotel was very good, room was excellent , decent continental breakfast, wine to purchase, incomparable setting on Niagara River in charming Lewiston! Great shower in room, beautiful view of River, roomy and comfortable, excellent front desk staff!
Have video and picture footage. Had bugs in the room. Flys bees mosquitos. About a dozen. Flys in a corner. 2 or 3 bees that i am extremely allergic to. Hotel gave me bug spray to try and "take care of it myself" they could not call anyone and no one on staff could help with the problem.. Had to evacuate my 65 year old disabled father and his support dog. For an hr at 10 oclock at night, to let spray settle. Then the office notified me they had 1 room that was under "renovation" that the ac had a slight water leak. Well i wasnt aware that the carpet was completely soaked the smell of mold/mildew was unbearable. But my father couldnt sleep in the car. Everything else was booked. And i couldnt drive at that point. The hotel staff would not allow me to physically talk with the manager. They would talk for us to each other. Very frustrating then i was told i would recieve a phone call from her on sept 4th and i never did. Very poor customer service overall a horrible experience. Tried to offer me a 50 dollar discount that wasnt acceptable for the amount of stress and aggravation. What a physical and emotionally draining experience, it was my last day of vacation and it was a horrible way to end it. I asked for 100 off. Before i went into the "new" room. The manager debated with me and said 75. I upsettingly accepted it because i was backed into a corner that night. With no where else to go. Thats not how you're suppose to treat a guess. Especially when your rooms are not up to standard. Next morning i woke up basically sick from the mold/mildew smell in the room. I couldnt take it anymore and checked out at 7 am. Notified the front desk the 75 dollar comp was not acceptable. They told me the manager would call me and i have not heard from her. Would not recommend…
We visited here for a couple of days while visiting Niagara Falls. The parking is a bit difficult because there is not alot of space right out in front, but plenty of space in the lot down the hill. The staff was great with our Check-in, the lobby was very nice and big also. Our rooms were very clean with plenty of space. The bathroom was a good size also, but the shower was really tight and I'm not that big, and there isn't any counter space, they really need to put some type of small table in there to place ur things. Also, there breakfast really sucked, we had to go out to eat the next day in order to actually eat something. Overall it was a great stay in a good location.
I stayed for 5 nights at this hotel and they exceeded my expectations with every aspet of my visit. The location in a very historic area is mirrored in the hotel's appearance and ambience. The village/town of Lewiston is picturesque and has plenty of places to eat. There's also plenty to do and the Artpark is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There's a free trolley service to Nagara falls. The hotel itself is an older building and so isn't perfectly appointed. This is in keeping with the style of property. The room was a very good size and had a comfortable feel to it. Cleaning is on request and I didn't use this facility as wasn't there long enough. The staff were friendly and attentive, but without being overbearing. The continental breakfast had plenty of options available and was included with the room. All in all, the hotel enhanced my stay.…
We were crossing back from Canada late night and this had an opening with a good price so we jumped on it. Glad we did, for the price the property seems to have really good potential. The rooms, if possible seemed overly large. At least it seems like it isn't the best use of space but of course, nice to have it. The staff was friendly and the only real downside is the parking, especially if arriving late is difficult. I had to park down below in the public parking lot.
The bed was good, sheets were good. It was very roomy,in fact, the bathroom was so roomy that it came with a chair. you could have a board meeting in that bathroom. There was no microwave oven in the room, sound deadening was good, but parking was bad. This might be due to the weddings that took place both Friday and Saturday nights. The toilet seat was not secure and I told management when I checked out and they said that they use snap on/off seats that are for easy cleaning.
Recently stayed with family. Great location, beautiful exterior. Reserved 5 rooms for 3 nights (Thursday through Sunday), arrived to all rooms not clean (dirty counter/furniture). One room had a mildew smell and leaking shower. Staff was notified, counters was wiped but shower condition was never resolved. Manager would not grant our request to move to another room.
What a lovely respite ! My partner and I are on tour with a band. They were playing the Art Park venue. Niagara Crossing Inn and Spa was a delightful change from all the chain hotels. The rooms were nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Had a nice view from our riverfront room. We didn’t go but others went to the bar across the way and local restaurants, and had good things to say . The hotel had a well stocked snack and beverage bar if you just wanted to sit at the tables in front or on the large balcony and relax. The best part of our stay was Abby at the front desk. She was everything someone could wish for from a desk person and more. Friendly, pleasant and helpful. She assisted with printing out some documents we needed for travel. She took our mail to be sent out and above beyond moved her personal vehicle so we could park our oversized van. Thank you Abby and everyone at the Niagara Crossing..I hope to come back as a tourist and enjoy all the area has to offer.…
We were very happy with the establishment. It is pet friendly. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had a water view suite it was a little out dated but very comfortable.Would definitely come back.
