Positives The staff of the hotel were really cooperative and helpful. We went as a group of 8 family and friends. I had got an email sent to say we might arrive too late for dinner and to keep us some vegetarian food which they did. We kept asking for hot water from the bar which they provided politely. We asked the restaurant if they had vegetarian pizzas and they gave us a separate plate for all of us. Another night they made a risotto for us especially and the last night they made us some roasted Mediterranean vegetables served individually plus plates of pasta. We asked for a takeaway breakfast which they provided as we were leaving before their regular opening time plus opened a little earlier for us to just have hot tea/coffee and croissants. The hotel was right on the beachfront and many of the rooms overlooked the Riveria. We enjoyed a great long walk along the very well kept beach and safe paving. Negatives There were no kettles in the rooms. We like to have regular teas/herbal teas and hot water to drink. There was absolutely no entertainment in the evenings for adults. If the weather had not been so bad it wouldn't have mattered but as it had been raining incessantly and we were not able to leave the hotel some facilities/entertainment would have helped. The hotel was a little far from the main scenic towns so with the incessant rain we could not explore anything.

Wow! Quite possibly the best trip I’ve had! The hotel is a little dated but it’s clean and has everything you could need. The location of the hotel is just absolutely stunning. I’ve never felt so relaxed in my life. I had a sea view room and sitting on the balcony at sunset listening to the sea and the little church bells chime was just amazing. Such nice memories. Hired sun-loungers on the beach and it was just beautiful. We didn’t realise until the last day that you could use the amenities at the hotel next to it as it’s the same company, such as their pool. It’s also a lovely walk to Punta Rata or in the opposite direction to a little harbour with some shops and restaurants. The only thing was that if you need to get the bus, order a taxi to the stop as it’s very very uphill. But the views from the hotel are totally worth it. Mountains in one direction and beautiful sea views in the other. I can’t wait to come back!

I can understand the new owner having a large amount of debt following the acquisition and wanting to cut overheads but the way it's been done is too much: the waiting staff are amateur and the quality of food which comes out of the kitchen is so bad it's inedible.

We are family of 2 children 2 adults loved this place. Rooms are nice and the staff are friendly. We did have rental car and parked ok. The walks around the coastal line are out of this world. The hotel sits on the beach and has beautiful nighttime music and bean bags that are put out on the beach with candles. We plan to visit again and add in island tours too.

We just came back from this hotel, family of 3. All the positives and negatives in other reviews are mostly true. + Very good location in Brela Clean and well maintened room, large enough Solid food for 3 star hotel Generally nice and polite staff Beach in front of the hotel is beautiful - Mattress can be uncomfortable for "heavier" guests Air conditioner works, but it's not strong enough. And for me the worst experience - parking. It's very busy, limited availability in front of the hotel, most of the time you need to park far away in the middle of the forest. BEWARE OF THIS: They will charge you 3 EUR par day for parking, but if you don't leave emidiatly after check out time they will charge you adittional 3 EUR / hour! We left after lunch and were forced to pay additional 20 EUR at gate! Calling reception didn't help. Rip-off!

The best thing about this hotel for us were the lovely staff, especially in the restaurant - they are super, they work like a great team and run a very efficient and friendly restaurant. The food is buffet but very varied and always plenty of choice - we enjoyed it every day. The guy in the bar is super friendly too. We were so pleased that our room was cleaned speedily everyday - as soon as we left the lady who cleans was straight in (C216) the rooms are a little dated but the hotel is old and it’s perfectly adequate. We loved the location, the swimming is great - the promenade through Brela is a lovely stroll with lots of restaurants and little shops. We were surprised no beach towels but that’s only minor, we had plenty of towels in our room. No swimming pool but we didn’t miss it - the sea is gorgeous here.

Really good experience here. Rooms were cleaned everyday, bedding exchanged for fresh bedding, clean towels too. Facilities fine for what you’d expect for a 3 star hotel. Sea view room is as facing the sea, however there are trees in the way. You can partly see the sea and definitely hear it: It’s not an ideal place for people with limited mobility and fitness as there are a steps and hills to climb. The steps can be quite slippy in the morning. Beautiful beaches and promenade within metres of the hotel. Anyone who comes here and decides to do a boat trip to zlatni rat. Don’t bother. There are much more beautiful beaches right here. They are very very stony though and I’d recommend getting yourself a pair of aqua shoes to walk in beach and go in the water. We stayed half board and there was an abundance of food choice for meat eaters. However, there wasn’t much choice for vegetarians and even less for vegans. I ate the same thing every day -salad. I did enjoy the salad though and liked my bowl high with grated cabbage, carrot, lettuce m, olives and tomatoes. For vegetarians there is not a bad selection of cheeses and eggs to eat. Breakfast had a selection of cheeses, pastries, bread, meat, fruit, toast and cereal with juice and hot drink. I’d recommend the hotel to others and definitely would stop here again. It met our needs and expectations. Staff were helpful and friendly.

One of the best hotels I’ve been to! Everything was great. The food was fresh and diversified, the staff was kind and helpful, the hotel is next to the beach that is perfect for the whole family. Stores, restaurants and activities for kids are close by.

You only choose this hotel if you need a place to sleep, that's all. The hotel has some territory, but it is rather neglected. No pool or a bar of any kind. We checked in Marina after a lovely week in Bluesun Alga (Tucepi) and were serisouly disappointed. The rooms (we booked one "land-view" and one "sea-view") were spacious and there was more of the sea in the "sea-view" room (great view!). But those were the only pros. :( Receptionists and maids were OK, but workers in the restaurant were not too friendly. The furniture and household appliances were old. The doors to the bathroom in one of the rooms were without a latch, old shower stall's doors could hardly be closed. There was mold on bathroom walls. :( The corridors of the hotel were empty and lifeless. But real horror waited for us in the restaurant. - a big queue to the only place where you could get main course - terrible logistics (if you go for a bread or anything else you had to pass through that queue) thus everyone depressed and unsmiling. And on top of that terrible noise because of bad acustics in the place (there were no windows in the restaurant). We literally could not eat in that fuss... The very next morning we had breakfast (it was as noisy and depressing as the dinner) and checked out right after it. I thank Bluesun company for charging us only for one night (we booked the whole week), but, I guess, they were kind because we booked a new stay in Alga so in total they did not loose anything. :) Few words about Brela: - nice beaches within few minutes from the hotel, but they are pretty crowded - thousands of tourists in Brela, busy and noisy nightlife - very long and lovely pedestrian path at the sea
