A former Presidential guesthouse, fully renovated and with new tasteful rooms added. Located minutes from quaint Jinja town and over-looking the great Lake Victoria. Set in lush gardens to give you a truly peaceful, well deserved rest in our very comfortable en-suite rooms. The restaurant serves variety of breakfasts, and other meals, including our famous pizzas meals. We look forward to hosting you soon.
The view was breathtaking. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful, even supplying us with an early morning takeaway so we could get through Kampala before the ‘jam’. The food was great. We all enjoyed a swim in the pool after a long day of travelling.

I stayed at the lodge recently. The room is very nice and has a nice bathroom. It is clean. However, I would like to warn potential guests that on a Saturday night it is extremely noisy. The noise emanated from a neighbouring lodge but went onto until about 5 am in the morning. It was so loud (I estimate 170 decibels) the walls vibrated and I got no rest whatsoever. It is probably fine to stay there during the week but at weekends it is extremely noisy indeed. I complained to the owner but he was full of himself and said that is what Jinja is like at weekends. He said everywhere is noisy and you just have to accept it. He accused me of insulting a staff member, which was not true. I may have raised my voice because I was angry at the awful noise. I don't appreciate having to pay $75 for a room where I get no rest whatsoever.…

So, I always get their pizza either when in Jinja, or staying here or passing through. Today I was early for the oven, and opted to try another place at a local "hangout". Mistake. This is the best when you are looking for quick, hot, and tasty. Give it a try!

When a guesthouse is welcoming, comfortable, stylish, safe AND offers yummy food, it feels a little like home. I always look forward to returning to the friendly staff and comfortable rooms for my extended stays in Jinja. It’s proximity to the lake makes for beautiful views and it’s short walk to the main part of town makes it a convenient location. It’s a place I’ll keep returning to.

Beautiful, clean, traditional style rooms and authentic with well preserved hardwood floors in the rooms. Balconies overlooking the Nile and Lake Victoria Bay. Gray Parrots living in one of the beautiful compound trees. Delicious food. Service vastly improved Looks like a great place for families and groups!

I stayed here after a three day stay where I got very little sleep because of my hotel's proximity to a very noisy road, this place was the perfect antidote. As suggested in the description, a traditional colonial house, very comfortable, hardwood floors, ceiling fans and a beautiful bird filled garden with a pool. I could not have asked for more, the staff were very friendly, the food was okay, the menu needs a bit of a refresh and a bit of imagination. The views and bird life (and the fruit bats) more than made up for the average food, a ten minute walk from Jinja, worth considering if that's important.

The pizza was great but oh my goodness, the services was so terrible!!!! The guy Ivan who was serving us dragged his feet, didn’t want to answer questions. He couldn’t even get the chef to make plain chips. Told us whatever is on the menu is fixed! Like if you can make cheese chips why can’t you hold the cheese and make plain chips???? 🤮🤮😳😳😳🙄🙄🙄😑😑😑 the last straw was the owner coming and telling me 5 minutes before closing that alert close at 9.30pm. I’m like it’s 9.25pm. His response was like I can’t order anything else because in 5 minutes we are closing. Basically we were chased from the premises because they were closing in 5 minutes!!!! Such bad service and hospitality!!!! You can’t even be glad you have one vision in your premise! Thumbs down!!! 👎👎👎👎👎 bye! Last time I ever show up here!!!…

Another member of our group made our reservations here. The hotel and restaurant did not disappoint. Our room was spacious and clean and had a great view overlooking the lake. Comfy mattresses are difficult to find at most guest houses but ours was fine. We were also impressed with the pizza. (can't beat fresh pineapple on a Hawaiian pizza). Breakfast was good also. It was made to order and didn't take long. We had been on the road for several hours so what I appreciated the most was not having to go out and look for dinner. The only downside was the wifi didn't work well in our room but worked fine elsewhere.

We were a large group and enjoyed the wonderful service by the staff. We would order our meals ahead and they would be ready--no waiting--both breakfast and dinner. I tried the pizza, calzone, pepper steak. They were all excellent except one of the steak meals-- the meat was not good. Everyone raved about the fish. The mosquito net in room 8 was great. Loved the way it was made--so easy to get in and out of. Also, the view from the balcony was fantastic. The water pressure could have been better, but there was always hot water. The drain didn't drain well so we stood in water during the shower. Room 8 is up two or three flights of stairs, but the staff is very willing to help with luggage. Otherwise the room was very fine. Plenty of room for clothes, a nice sitting area and again--the balcony view! The guest house is within 15 min walking distance to town and shopping. There is a room next to the office/lobby and they were kind enough to let us use it for our nightly meetings. There is a nice pool, but it had debris in the shallow "baby pool." Had wifi in the lobby, but not in our room. I could send texts and emails in the lobby, but not bring up websites. We will go back next year.…
